Ordered two fish meals which were tasteless. Seems like the fish was literally just fried and then some onions was placed on top of it.The cabbage was crunchy but had no seasoning.

The oxtails are good but the bones are really big I hope they are oxtails. They just look different to me. They don’t look like the normal oxtails. Other than that it was good but I’m skeptical.

Ordered 2 large jerk chicken from this location via Uber eats. Food arrived and it was TERRIBLE. I said to myself, my usual spot doesn’t make their jerk chicken like this, EVER. Turns out, I didn’t order from the Lyons Ave location. I don’t know why the recipe is different across locations, but this Union Ave jerk chicken is the worst jerk chicken I’ve ever tasted. Dry and then covered with jerk sauce to try to enhance it I suppose. Never again! $60 down the drain. Go to Lyons Ave location

Worst food I've had from a Golden Krust. Do yourself a favor and go to Top Taste in Irvington instead. The service was good though.

Food is good, but the price is ridiculous for how much food they give you. 2 scoops of rice, 3 pieces of meat, and a little baby portion of vegetables. Do Better.

Had their cow foot and it was delicious, soft, not salty; even my picky Jamaican parents tries some and enjoyed it even gave it a 10. I will visit this location again

To put things into perspective...It is 89 degrees (97 degrees in my car) yet I want nothing more than Golden Krust Chicken Soup in my life. You get it now???? AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!! You get a whole farmer's market, authentic Jamaican dumplings, and large chicken chunks in one bowl! Well done Golden Krust... we'll done??????.
