Their meats are always fresh and we love the selection of other products they carry. We frequently order custom cuts and they are always helpful. We're lucky that they are right in our neighborhood, but Nick's is worth the trip from anywhere. Get the chicken asiago burgers, you won't be disappointed!!”

“Wow! Just absolutely wow! I am a steak guy. Always have been. When the pandemic hit back in 2020, I got into cooking steaks at home out of necessity. If I can't go to NYC's finest steak houses, I need to learn how to make the stuff at home. DeBragga, Pat LaFrieda, Snake River Farms, all have good delivery options and I tried them all. F.A. DeRosa smokes every one of those larger fine purveyors. The dry aged porterhouse from F.A. has become a staple in my grill routine. It is hands down the best porterhouse I have ever had. I have had probably 30 of them and have no desire to slow down. Stack it up next to Wolfgangs or the master of them all Peter Luger, F.A. DeRosa could supply those guys AND if you know your way around a grill you can easily surpass their quality in terms of cook and taste. If you live in NYC, love steak and are considering a move to the suburbs strongly consider Westfield just based on proximity to these guys. If you love steak and live within 150 miles of here make the pilgrimage. It is totally worth it. I have traveled with this stuff to friends houses in Virginia, Pennsylvania and Long Island City and they always demand more claiming its the best they have ever had. The owners are unbelievably friendly and quick with a tour of their shop and the meat locker. Come check this place out. If you love steak you will love F.A. DeRosa.”
“Just love this hometown staple. I’ve been going there since I was a kid w mom. We still love their delicious food and, their service. Nice to see a family business grow and prosper with their next generation.
If you happen to visit, check out the custom artwork recently hand painted on the side & back of the building and the garage! Lastly, if you don’t feel like cooking they’ve got you covered. They even cook roasts and birds for holiday dinners plus all the fixings. Every town should have a Perrotti’s! Don’t miss it or their chocolate pudding.”
“It was my first time going to this place, filet megnon was amazing, can’t get any better, hamburgers were great, i would rather my kids eat these hamburgers than any other junk . I liked it very much . Guys at the store were perfect, simple , straight, professional, just the way it is supposed to be .

“My God. Every once in a while when I'm in the neighborhood I'll stop by and pick up something. I wanted some beans I didn't know what type of meat to put in it. I stopped here the day before and picked up a link just one but saw in the corner of my eye Hammocks didn't purchase it, I said when I'm in the neighborhood again I'll pick it up. That was the next day. Talking about meaty I put it in some beans and I'm cooking it right now.”

There are few places which a near to where we live but the quality of Shalimar Meat is beyond all the others! Clean, fresh and cut in perfect portion sizes. They have all the other meats too like Beef and chicken. Chicken is very fresh and tender too.
