I was just at this Ecco store on 4/20/24 at 4:24 pm. I am here to report the working staff but not the products which we all trust.I found a good pair of shoes. It was under clearance with a sign of “Take an additional 50%.”When I checked to pay I found that the price is 50% of the original price. I tried to explain to the 2 registers that there is a difference between “take an additional discount”which means that the item should be already discounted, rather than “take 50%” without the word “additional “. They both treated me like I am crazy or a different alien in a derogatory manner. One said “I don’t need to get lessons from you”, And the older one simply said “you can go out”.You guys think a lot before you go there as you will deal with real nasty staff. .

I came by the Jackson store this weekend with a couple of online returns, and Lori (Store Manager) provided exceptional customer service. She helped facilitate a complicated online transaction and even though it probably negatively affected her store results, she helped me with it anyway. I am so appreciative of the support, which was much better than any online support I received from Customer Service. I also walked out with 3 more pairs of shoes than I expected to :) Thank you, Lori!

Nice brand, but man doesn’t this store have the worst management? They just want a customer come in get shoes pay for it, without “disturbing the arrangement”? Like others, I don’t know what we did to deserve the rudeness, pushiness, constant watching and incessant inquires…passive aggressive help all the way through.

I had a disappointing experience at the Ecco store in Jackson Outlets Mall. The general manager, a short-haired woman in her 50s, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. While I was browsing the shoes, she came up to me from behind and scolded me for potentially messing up the display. She also told me that the shoes were arranged in a specific order and should not be moved around.Not only was the manager's behavior off-putting, but the quality of the shoes left a lot to be desired. The styles were outdated and not very appealing, and the prices were quite high given the poor quality. I visited the store once and I have no intention of going back, unless there is a change in management. This manager has completely tarnished the reputation of the Ecco brand.Overall, I cannot recommend the Ecco store at Jackson Outlets Mall. The manager's terrible attitude and the subpar quality of the products make it a disappointing shopping experience. It's a shame that such a well-known brand has been let down by one individual.

Disgusting customer service. One of the employees shut the lights out while we were checking out the shoes, said they were closing. No warning beforehand whatsoever. We thought the shop was open until 8. Didn't let us pay for the shoes we were getting! Just waisted our time. Those two young girls who were there, showed extreme rudeness and disrespect! Strongly suggest to stay away from the store, as it clearly doesn't care about its employees' behavior towards the customers.

Sales staff are very helpful and courteous. Ecco makes extremely comfortable shoes.

First time shopping in this store ( Brand) During the memorial sale. Constantly being watched and bothered. I just wanted want to shop in your peace. The older sales woman with glasses kept asking me questions . Then I was unsure if I want the sneaker. Then my boyfriend only want one shoe…. It was hard because the lady kept wanting to change our minds and she wanted him to buy 2 shoes. He said no and she had attitude. After all that I didn’t want the shoes. I bet she wanted that commission.

Poor customer service and shoe quality. I purchase the shoes a week ago and the shoe seams is already falling apart, took it to the store and was told they can’t do anything at all.

MUST READ: I encountered 3 employees at my recent visit to the store. 2 were cordial and looking to help. On the other hand the other employee was downright rude and obnoxious, curt and trying to help me the bare minimum...An example: I was trying on a pair of shoes, the sales woman asked me if I need a shoe horn. I said yes I would take a shoe horn so I don't break the back of the shoe, in case I don't end up taking it. ( I believe I was doing a very noble act, I am trying on a pair of shoes that are not yet mine and might not be mine, I treat it carefully to leave it in the best condition possible. Common sense right?) Well she looks at me and with cynicism dripping in her tone of voice slowly repeats my comment back to me as if I just said the craziest non understandable thing. " so- you'll -take -a shoe -horn -so- you -don't -brake -the -back -of -the -shoe.. what??" Now in the worst of times you don't treat costumers like that at all its appalling but here I am going out of my way to be cordial and caring and polite and this is the response?? Really disturbing.I take the shoe and continue shopping for another.. I witness other costumers coming in and out. Each one gets a nice big hello from this rep even as they callously shrug her off that they are just browsing as they leave they get a friendly 'have a great day!'.. I'm left wondering why is it that I who is actually buying shoes and a real costumer was treated disgustingly while the others were treated the way all costumers should be.Then it dawned upon me... I'm Jewish and look outwardly Jewish, no question in my mind this store has an issue with an anti Semitic employee. ECCO FIX THIS!
