I went to Jefferson Pharmacy because my distance glasses broke. I wasn’t able to drive without my glasses. The pharmacist was so nice. He took his time and fixed my glasses. They were so nice. What a wonderful neighborhood pharmacy to have. Thank you again for your kindness.

I have going to Jefferson Pharmacy for several years now and have always received excellent service. Alex and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. This pharmacy is a great local business and a wonderful alternative to the big box pharmacies. I highly recommend their products and services.

I'm so very happy with this pharmacy. Alex is amazing at solving customer problems in a pleasant and timely manner. His staff is friendly and knowledgeable and is always willing to help. This is a great alternative to the big pharmacies that don't really care about your problems. I would recommend this pharmacy to anyone.

Nicest customer service, on top of everything, and the store is very neat with a lot of products.

I have been in and around the medical profession for over 40 years. In all that time, and in all my travels - both in the U.S. and overseas - I have NEVER encountered such a catastrophically incompetent pharmacy. The most recent (and final) interaction I had with them occurred just today.I had called last week to have a medication refilled (they don't have an online system, so you have to call and hope they answer). The pharmacist told me there were no refills left on my prescription, and so she would have to call my Doctor.I assured her there were still several refills available (the prescribing Doc is a friend, and I had just visited her a few weeks ago) and I told her the bottle from the prescription that they filled last month states there are 9 refills remaining. She would not listen, so I told her to just go ahead and call the Doctor (I texted the Doc, telling her to expect the call).Yesterday evening, I picked up three medications that were to have been filled. When I got home, I discovered that the medication I had called in had not been filled. In its place, another medication, that I already had refilled a week before, had been filled again. So far, no big deal. Mistakes happen. This morning, I went back to the the store to discuss the matter with the pharmacist. The store was supposed to open at 9:00, and she arrived at 9:15 (several other people who were waiting for the store to open had already left by then). I explained what had happened, and she could not understand what I was telling her.I said, "I called in a refill for 'A', and for some reason you refilled my prescription for 'B'. I still need you to fill 'A'."The pharmacist responded, "I don't understand."We did this (I kid you not) eight times - and each time, she said "I don't understand." This went on for (BION) over ten minutes. She was so hostile, defensive, and belligerent ("It was your fault for not checking before you left this store!") that it felt like a bad version of an Abbot & Costello routine. Her final concession was "Well, I'll have to call the Doctor to get it approved." I reminded her that she had already called the Doctor. But by now, she was so beyond reason that it wasn't worth discussing further.-----------------P.S. Pharmacists who work in hospitals, and those who work in areas like chemotherapy, deserve our respect. Those are challenging jobs. But let's be honest, to be a retail pharmacist, all you have to be able to do is listen, read, and count (and you rarely have to count above 30). For bonus points, you should be pleasant; maybe even nice.No retail pharmacist knows which drugs interact with which others (there are, thankfully, computer programs for that), and they sure as hell shouldn't be second-guessing or double-checking physicians (computer programs can do that more effectively as well).A bright High School kid could be a retail pharmacist without any formal training (as long as they can listen, read, and count). I could train a machine to do their job in an afternoon (and, inevitably, that's what will happen; soon, but not soon enough). Hell, with a box of treats, I could probably train my cat to be a retail pharmacist. So, is it really too much to ask that they be able to do such a simple job - and (heaven forbid) be nice to customers?

Terrible customer service. They sold me an open package of nasal spray. My wife picked it up and when she got home I noticed it was opened. The response from the staff was that it wasn't open when we purchased it. She basically told me I lied. I live down the street and this is my local pharmacy. Unbelievable. Looks like I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Shame on you Jefferson Pharmacy. Your local customers are the core of your business.

I really like this pharmacy. Not just because it is a local business and so close to home. The prices in the prescriptions are very good. I don’t use my insurance half the time because they have better pricing than GoodRX. Their pricing on OTC items is very good too. Better than internet pricing in most cases. I go there exclusively, even just to pickup a chap stick.
