GPS had me going in circles trying to find the entrance to this place. Had to turn into the opposite direction of a one way street to find a garage door with no business sign.

They didn’t give me a full tank of gas when I took the rental. I returned the car at the same level. But was still charged for a full tank of gas in the final invoice!

As a National executive elite member, I've been renting here almost weekly for 5+ years and staff here is great. They will try to accommodate your choice of vehicle if they have it available.Julian, the manager, is very friendly and will go out of his way to meet any requests you have.The vehicles are almost always very clean as well.

I’m in the office and no one is attending me. I’m calling the number 10 times and I hear the phone ringing and no one is answering. Alamo, test out your employees because they are slacking! I have a reservation and no one cares to attend or answer the phone. Distasteful!

WORST experience ever! They had good service while picking up the car but the worst after returning it! They are not responsible for the directions given by their customer service. Their call recording services are just name sake. They don't take any responsibility for what they say. Anything you ask about it, they will say they are sorry for the miscommunication and they cannot access the recording.Their drop box services are inside the garage and when they are closed, we reached out to the customer services for the first time, and they informed us that they don't have a drop box facility in this particular office and asked us to return the car next day by offering extra time. We did it accordingly. Now we have a bill with extra 133 dollars. If you contact the office, they will give you 10% off for the customers who live in the other side of the globe! YEAH! If you don't have a reason to go to New Jersey, they will give you one! Spend thousands of dollars they will give you tens of dollars discount. NEVER RENT CAR FROM HERE!! YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR NO REASON!! THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THEY SAY.

Alamo was the slowest service center I have ever experienced! They kept me waiting outside in 30F for 40mins before letting me in the office with just 2 people ahead of me. Took another 20mins to give me my car. How can it be so inefficient when I already had a reservation!

If you are returning after hours and it is your first time here, note that the entrance to this garage is on 2nd street, not 1st Street! There are ZERO signs. Drive up to the 8th floor and you will see parking spots for National. None for Alamo (but they are the same entity, it seems).

Don't rent from here if you're in a hurry. slowest service ever at pick up and drop off! You also have to drive up and down 8 floors of a parking garage to pick up and drop off the car. Not convenient at all.

This Alamo location (Jersey City), was so understaffed that there was a line of at least 35 people outside and it took an hour and a half.

Really like Alamo and this particular location; near the path and the key drop box is very convenient. Connor was a pleasure to work with; I had an edit to my rental which he processed quickly and accurately for me. I will definitely be back!

We love Alamo! We have rented with Alamo for several times. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The cars are in excellent condition. We are very happy to have Alamo in our neighborhood!

The worst experience ever in a rental location. I picked up a van at jersey city, which they were very nice and professional, I drove it out into the street and noticed a small chip on the windshield and the tires very worn so I called Alamos 1800 number as I was driving which they gave me a reference number and directed me to go to the LGA location and do a switch of vehicles, that's when it all went down the drain, that location was very unprofessional, rude, and disappointing. They had me there for over an hour trying to blame me for the chip on the windshield and had the nerve to threaten me with not giving me a vehicle unless I signed an incident report agreeing that I caused the chip and my credit card would be charged for it. I obviously declined to sign, after about another half an hour they decided to give me a vehicle and told me to just take it, upon entering the vehicle I noticed a yellow paper and when I looked at it I saw it was a quick accident report and they decided to make the report to blame me for the chip and then put that I refused to sign it, I then called the jersey city location and explained what had happened to which the representative was shocked and asked me if he can speak to them, I then handed the phone to the LGA manager, the Jersey city representative explained that the chip was already there and that it was not caused by me, the manager replied if they should do a report charging me or charging the Jersey city location. How is that even a question if they just explained it wasn't caused by me????unbelievable!!!!!the Jersey city representative explained that it would be charged to their location and gave a managers approval number. After that the LGA manager just gave me the phone and without even an apology or anything just said nothing, I had to then ask the lga representative if it was all taken care off which she replied yes, I have never experienced in all the years renting with alamo such disrespect, lack of professionalism, total rudeness . This is something that a simple call to the Jersey city location would've clarified the situation before any of the complete incompetence!
