Horrible customer service. Rude, rigid, and made my wife and I feel like a huge burden when retrieving our car. Cars were also dirty. Plenty of other car rentals to choose from in the area.

Solid car rental service. Check your bill afterwards for hidden fees. The guy in the front desk is helpful and will help you remove the automatic unnecessary charges.

Friendly courteous and professional service, even received a complimentary upgrade! I have rented from this location many many times over the years, and will keep doing so in future - have never been disappointed! Cars are nice and kept clean.

Avis is basically a scam. When picking up the car, they charged me an extra $14 for insurance, which was not a part of my online reservation. They insisted that it is automatic and they can't change it in the system even when I continued to show them my receipt and repeatedly stated that I didn't add that insurance. When the line of customers grew long, they said okay we'll remove it and just like that, they acquired the ability to not overcharge me. When returning the car, they added fuel charges without telling me. When I showed them before and after pictures of the fuel gauge and that I was literally returning the car with more fuel than pickup, they removed the scammy charges. Just how design is in Apple's DNA, scamming is in Avis's DNA. Be prepared to also not receive the car you specifically booked. They're known to often give you random cars.

Very awesome! Quick rental, lovely staff and affordable pricing. Enterprise disappointed me on the day of my rental and I resorted to Avis and it was a great choice.

Exorbitant charges.There is convenience fee on everything. Toll charges, fuel service, etc. The concession recovery fee is another complete money waste!Got charges over $500 for two days of intermediate SUV drive.

Sonny saved the day! Had a mess of a time with another Avis nearby, but this location was extremely helpful and accommodating in helping me find a car for the weekend. Can’t thank you enough!

I was a National Car fan for the last 15 years but left them due to their recent unreasonable price hike for rental. Been using KYTE instead which is great during the off seasons Only. Then found AVIS. No price gouging, easy pick up and return. Only negative is no over night return. Meaning you have to keep the car until the day of return. In JC, parking on the street can be challenging. But overall, this has become my favorite car rental agency.

Mom went to pick up a car she ordered online. Was told she cannot use a debit card only a credit card to make sure she has a good credit score even though none of that was mentioned on the sight and they charged her for the insurance had to call and was told it can’t be refunded had to go back and fourth and asked why can they charge a debit card if where being told they only accept credit card finally was told we would be refunded horrible service and idiotic policies. Better off going to budget or kite

Absolutely garbage customer service. Sarah was rude, confrontational, disrespectful in letting me they didn’t have a car for me, despite having a reservation. I can’t believe someone like that works in retail. This was my first, and potentially last time trying Avis.

I rented from this location earlier this week and scheduled and confirmed a 7:30 am pickup, the time the location opens. No one was there when I arrived. I waited an hour and still no one there. There were three of us waiting.I called Customer Service multiple times during the hour. I was twice told I would “just have to wait,” which is a completely unacceptable response. They finally switched my reservation to Newport Mall, but only after I asked. This should have been their first suggestion at my first call at 7:50am!!!! The reservation was transferred at 8:30 am and I (and the other two customers) went to the mall.I finally left the mall location at 9:30 am, two hours after my scheduled reservation, making me two hours late for a work meeting.

As a loyal customer with a preferred plus membership, I was extremely disappointed with the service I received at this rental car company. I had booked a full size car, but was given an economy size car which was cheaper, and to make matters worse, the car was dirty inside, smelled bad, and had scratches outside.When I brought these issues to the attention of the receptionist, I was gaslighted and made to feel like I was in the wrong. The receptionist claimed that the car I had been given was a free upgrade and that all the other cars were booked out, so I had no choice but to take it or leave it.This is not the kind of service I expect from a company that I have been a loyal customer. The fact that I was given a car that was of lower quality than what I had paid for is simply unacceptable, and the fact that the receptionist tried to make me feel like I was in the wrong only added insult to injury.I hope that this review will serve as a warning to other customers who may be considering using this rental car company. The service is simply not up to par, and it's clear that they do not value their customers.It's inevitable for me to need a rental car from time to time, but I'd rather go further to a rent from another Avis.
