I’ve rented the campervan from EscapeCampervans 3 times, and once again, I absolutely loved everything! From the pick up to drop off, I’ve been in few different locations and every location was very helpful and welcoming!
I will be definitely waiting for another great deal they have and will try do this again soon!
This time I drove from Florida to NJ, stopping and exploring Shenandoah National Park!

We had such a wonderful trip with Escape! The van was an excellent way to explore and an "upgraded" camping experience. We absolutely will be back.

if anyone is looking to rent a vehicle from this location, please THINK AGAIN! My camping group lost two full days of our trip because the manager at this location clearly didn’t service or do an inspection of the vehicle prior to giving to us. When our group arrived on site to pick up the vehicle, the manager told us to not worry about the tire pressure. He already checked it & nothing should be wrong. We decided to check anyways as a precaution. The tire was leaking air prior to our departure but because the manager told us to not worry we decided to get on the road because we were excited for our trip. 60 miles into our trip the tire pops. We lost two full days having to run around waiting for triple A & we were sent to a tire shop nearby for another tire. We missed our reservation at the hotel we had booked & we missed our reservation at the camp ground. When the vehicle was returned, the manager tried to victimized our group; trying to point blame at us when he was the one in the beginning telling us not to worry about anything. On top of this, he had the nerve to say “well you guys had full coverage insurance so there was nothing to worry about”. Apparently putting peoples lives at risk for not doing your job is appropriate. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. If you are looking to rent from this place DONT

Escape is a good company with solid campervans, fairly priced with the essentials in place. Very courteous and thorough in their service.

The operation in New York city is small. The vans are good, but maintainece can be better. Service is great.

We have had such an incredible experience with Escape! We travelled for two months from New York to Seattle (the long way around) and it truly was the trip of a lifetime. The process of picking up and dropping off was very smooth. We had a few minor issues with the van across our 7000 mile-long journey but always felt so supported by everyone we had contact with in Escape. They fixed everything quickly and easily and offered us great compensation, they’re a truly lovely team!
Living in our van the Matrix was so much fun and we will miss it. We hope she takes other people on just as exciting adventures! I couldn’t recommend them more:)

We enjoyed this experience so much! The camper had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The way they built the bed into the van is clever. I thought the van would be cumbersome to drive but it was a breeze. Great customer service.

I rented the Mesa Campervan for a trip from Los Angeles to NYC. I had a great experience with this company. The van operated perfectly, no problems. The employees in Jersey and Los Angeles were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this business to others who need a campervan.

This is my second Escape Campervans trip. California coastline last time, New England this time. We had a wonderful trip and Escape makes it easy. We'll be back and we recommend Escape to anyone we know.

Its my second time with theirs vans and im always happy with how its going. Good condition of beds, kitchen, kit of space, sets and strong car. Contact with team is always available by phone and they're ready to help. I wish I can leave personal review for our guide Forrest Holmes which was always for us with any questions and kept in good cooperation during our trip. He gave us a couple tips about ways and helped in hard moments. We rented there and can highly recommend office in NYC.

This is our third time using escape vans and another great trip. The vans are clean with their own unique design and always get questions when you’re traveling. We picked up at the NYC location and Forrest was extremely helpful in getting us set up and on our way. Great all around experience

Escape Campervans rocks! This is our 2nd year booking a van and we plan on doing it again next year. The vans are great, the customer service and communication rocks, Forest at the JC location was a pleasure. Hope the price doesn't increase again ?

Very nice van! We had no complications. The only thing we had wished for within the kitchen-kid, was a sharp kitchen-knife, a scissor, a sponge and a kitchen-towel.

We rented a Maverick van for a 3+ week, cross-country trip.It would have been nice to have been able to choose and pay for a mileage package up front because we could only estimate the large end-of-trip cost for additional mileage (as is, there was 100 miles/day pre paid for, for the Maverick).The age of our van was also evident, 360k+ miles at pickup, especially climbing to the high plains of Wyoming and Utah, and even general highway driving at times.Overall, we had a great time, the van was comfortable and roadside assistance/customer service was very responsive and helpful when needed. Would probably recommend more for shorter trips until Escape can offer better mileage packages and/or the option to pick a newer vehicle for extended length trips.
