Lovely spot but because they are aware this is an exclusive neighborhood they are starting to take advantage. When you see barcodes instead of written prices on everything you need to start worrying They have tons of everything and the vibe is nice with good produce but I urge the managers to think about the customer experience please. Im there to relax and shop not pull out my phone to scan each item looking to see a price for Even their website is the same so certainly troubling when our current economic landscape has everyone tightening their pockets a bit

I usually enjoy shopping here, but had a surprisingly uncomfortable encounter with a cashier today that will likely make me hesitate to return. After I had paid for my order, and was finishing bagging my items, the cashier very audibly leaned over to her colleague next to her and said about my order: “Jesus Christ! $99 for sixteen items!” While I did not respond to her rudeness, it made me quite uncomfortable and starkly embarrassed me. I try to live a conservative lifestyle, and am far from wealthy, but I do like to splurge a bit on cooking ingredients. However, this cashier made me feel as though my choices were foolish, and that is a terrible feeling on my one afternoon off of the week. I do not need to be price-shamed at my grocery store.I wish I had chosen a different store, and will in the future.

Can be a bit pricy here and there but always nice to visit and being a rewards member helps. One thing that PISSES me off though is the stickers on each individual produce. Makes food prep more annoying

During my recent stay in New Jersey, I was able to visit and frequent some new places. I particularly enjoyed walking the streets of downtown Jersey City and its waterfront; there I discovered Hudson Greene Market. This store located on Hudson Street, near Exchange Place, is a perfect place to pick up a meal to enjoy sitting on any of the benches or tables on the waterfront. Their hot buffet is a gourmet experience! Great choices at affordable prices! The dishes vary on a daily basis. Their sandwiches are amazing! I loved their Reuben and Bahn Mi! Yumm! I did not get to try their soups but they looked and smelled amazing! Along with the fresh food, you can also enjoy from the varieties of drinks, fresh juices to premium organic teas... The store offers healthy, organic and sustainable items that can be found in every department. I got to buy fresh organic fruits, breads, and sausages to take home. Hudson Greene Market, a great addition to downtown Jersey City. Enjoyable responsible gourmet experience!

Friendly cashiers. Small selection but they do have gourmet salts and mushrooms. Decent produce, especially love the heirloom tomatoes.

Grocery is overpriced and limited Check in line is always long. Emotional support animals are not allowed in the store since the store doesn’t consider them as service animals. Can’t wait Whole Food to open

Great service and stock of many sauces, vegetables, meats and cheeses. Plenty of options for take out lunch and relatively affordable

Review is for Deli only. Stopped by to have a quick Coffee with a friend, and they have some decent options for Cold and Hot Beverages. Coffee and Lemonade that we ordered was pretty good. One major drawback is that the Checkout line is same for regular shoppers checking out items from the Market, as well as for those who are just ordering from the Deli. We had to wait in line for along with the other shoppers just to place our orders. I hope they change this.

So many great options in one small store. Almost like a little Whole Foods. Love their fresh food.

Such a great neighborhood grocer! Having a membership and gaining points to earn towards $20 off really helps balance the cost of most items, even though prices on many items aren’t as high as you’d think. They have yummy premade food as well! Employees are always kind and speedy during checkout. Highly recommend :)
