This is less than a branch. They have very limited hours (only open half day on Saturday and closed on Sunday), and the manager knows nothing about cars and their system.

I’ve rented at many locations, and have to say this is hands down the best place in NJ, and even comparing to Newark Airport. It doesn’t have the number of fleet at the airport, but the level of service here is on another level. All the agents took good care of the car, go above and beyond to meet specific needs (child chair, accessible seat, upgrades) - attention that I found non-existence around Jersey City area.Rent here and stay away from Hertz. Avis is so-so, and definitely not Getaround.

Have rented a car a couple of times from here. The first time I was lucky to get a Mustang and the second time ended with Nissan kicks. Tbh it's a small place as a result the rental options are pretty limited. Their parking is on the 7th or 8th floor of the building and I haven't dropped off at this location yet as I prefer Newark airport for that because this place isn't open 24*7 which is understandable.

Returning your car here can be confusing. GPS might take you to the 1st Street office entrance. The rental car return garage is actually on 2nd st, around back, which you can't reach due to the one-way streets all around the building. Extra construction can make it extra annoying. Car drop off it at the very top floor.I had return here for a pick up from elsewhere and it was hard to find in bad weather. Make sure you look up National Car Rental Return on the GPS or drop a pin on 2nd St and save yourself time and frustration.

Shavona manages the agency single handedly and is very helpful. She accommodated all the customers in a timely manner and answers all questions. Great location and great cars.Maybe a good idea to keep it open on Sundays as a lot of neighborhood folks need cars for weekend.

Friendly and cooperative staff. Especially the branch manager- Shavon. She is really concerned about her customers and will make sure to provide best experience. The address mentioned on the google maps is the office location. To return cars, proceed towards the back of the building on 8th level of the Garage parking lot. Use the PrePaid Parking Receipt provided by the staff at the time of rental. Scan barcodes on both the side of tickets. DONT PAY FOR PARKING, YOU WONT GET REFUND.

Julian, the local manager is what makes this location so great. He is attentive, fast to provide 5 star service and extremely helpful. The cars are located in a complex location in the garage however he provides clear directions and is relaxed about returns. Being in Jersey City you pay about 20% less then the city for 100% better quality and after leaving my AirPods in the rental Julian got them back to me the next day. Can't recommend this location enough.

Really friendly staff. Easy to get to. Little tricky returning the car because I couldn’t find an easy way to access the parking garage. Went through the BJ’s parking lot to find an easy way in. I’d recommend posting some signs for returning National customers. Other than that, thumbs up.

As a executive elite member, I've been renting here almost weekly for 5+ years and staff here is great. They will try to accommodate your choice of vehicle if they have it available.Julian, the manager, is very friendly and will go out of his way to meet any requests you have.The vehicles are almost always very clean as well.
