Non polite receptionist. They charge $250 without prior notice and after 5 days still wait the return. Old style hotel, plastic food...

Simple hotel, located a few minutes from the PATH station, with old facilities (sofa beds have very worn mattresses). The staff is excellent. Thanks to Don José (maintenance) and Carlos (reception) who provided us with rolling beds so we could sleep. It's lovely that they give you refreshments (corn flakes, milk, coffee, banana...), and the shuttle to the New Jersey airport is also very practical.

$$250.00 DEPOSIT - What Exactly Does a Deposit do for the Hotel or Customer?1. We all know they hope we forget about the deposit so it can be pocketed.2. Nothing in any of these rooms total $2503. I don’t smoke4. I certainly don’t have a history of wrecking hotel roomsAnd so on and so on…the room was $120 for the night but they wanted a $250 deposit . What’s wrong with them? What’s wrong with Wyndham? What’s wrong with our state ? Of course I didn’t pay and left. But my gosh somebody needs to start looking out for the consumer because all these companies are devouring us. I guess we can’t count on the state to manage things better for its residents and visitors. So who can help ???Noteworthy details: Ridiculous Deposits!!!

Rooms and the lobby are too hot as there heating is old and keeps running non stop. They asked me to open window. That didn't help and then I ran AC. But still was bad. Sometimes we felt cold and sometimes hot. Mattress on sofa bed was very bad. They did change the room after one night but still the room was hot. Bed was ok this time.

My family and I stayed at the Ramada Windham in Jersey City for 2 nights, I tell you the rooms are not cleaned, they are very stinky, they smell like paws and expensive 200 dollars a night and on top of that they charged us 250 dollars extra per expensive room!! They don't put shampoo or soap!! I will never stay in your hotels again!!Rooms: The air conditioning is very old (window) and it makes a lot of noise, it doesn't let me sleepWalkability: The lack of a lot of attentionFood & drinks: The food was very, very low level, the coffee was stale!!

No issues with the staff and service. For the price, the place and rooms can be better. In addition, continental breakfast can add more items like pan cakes and waffles.

Ramada hotel and a good hotel. A little old which deserves a restoration even if I find that it can have a charm. the service was good. Storage of suitcases lobby gym breakfast included in the room price with a good selection. (cereal/egg/sausage/toast/French toast and fruit) We took a room for 4 people and we only had one bathroom too bad.

Great convenient location, walking distance to subway. Great value for the money, especially considering you get free airport transfer shuttle service to and from Newark airport.Noteworthy details: Rooms were a bit warm, but we quickly learned that opening windows solved that problem.

Room was nice and clean, service was excellent with the staff going above and beyond by holding our bags after checkout and taking us back to the airport using their shuttle during their scheduled times. Location was close to journal square with easy access to the city.Walkability: Walking distance to transport in and out of the city.

This was brutal. There was an issue with the heating and rooms were uncomfortably hot. There was mold in the shower to the point the drywall was peeling away from the wall and the outlets were all so loose that any plug would just fall right back out of the wall. We checked out after our first night and found Pod Times Square in a much better location for about the same price we would be paying here. There are better "no frills" options out there, keep looking.
