Food is overpriced and not good so it sours the experience. $20 for trash pizza as a snack. Atmosphere is wonderful. Service is of course with a smile. They really need to focus on the kitchen. Theres no way they haven't found someone whose mastered bar food.

The rooftop at exchange place used to be my favorite hangout in Jersey city when I lived there. It has a chic and stylish ambiance with breathtaking skyline views of New York City. Absolutely gorgeous! The food is great too. But they have very limited options. And the service can be slow because this place gets quite busy!If you are looking to grab some delicious drinks with a vibrant cityscape for a backdrop, this is THE place to be!

Excellent date spot, ambiance, food, drinks (Blackberry Sangria). The only downfall was with the parking. They said they validate. Gave us a voucher (2 for a party of 4), and neither voucher worked.

I had a very disappointing experience at this place. From the moment we arrived, the service was subpar. Our waiter, Madison, seemed disinterested and unwelcoming, failing to even introduce herself until prompted much later into our reservation. Things took a turn for the worse when, despite providing our IDs for cocktails without issue, we were subjected to unnecessary scrutiny. After a significant wait, a security guard approached our table demanding to see our IDs again, citing some vague policy. It was evident that this was a targeted action, as no other tables received similar treatment. We requested for the manager who the security guard insisted was the one asking for our IDs to be checked again, but the manager's response was equally unsatisfactory. He seemed confused and said he was not the one that asked for IDs to be checked but that this is a “policy.” Policy to check a table’s ID three times? Hmm. Instead of addressing our concerns or acknowledging the blatant discrimination, he made flippant comments about our appearances, suggesting that we looked underage as some sort of backhanded compliment. He verbatim said to me, a grown woman, that I looked 15 and that the grown men at my table looked 14. This entire ordeal left us feeling racially profiled and utterly disrespected, especially being that we came to celebrate a birthday. The lack of accountability from both the staff and management speaks volumes about the despicable culture of this establishment. I can guarantee you that because our table was filled with all people of color we were treated like this. With a limited menu and appalling customer service, I strongly advise avoiding this restaurant at all costs unless you’d like to be profiled. We will never come back and will be telling all of our friends and family.

Four years ago my fiancé and I had our first date at this restaurant. We returned today to take pictures for our wedding. We decided to have a drink before we took pictures. When we tried to go outside, it was closed due to rain. Bianca the supervisor ask if we needed something. We explained the situation and she was able to help us. She took amazing photos for us. Now we found the perfect picture for our wedding. Thank you so much Bianca for your help and hospitality.

Very disappointed. Since we were staying here at the Hyatt house; Went to go have a relaxing dinner after a full day of NYC sightseeing, but walked into a weird club/karaoke night on a random Thursday. Music too loud to enjoy the ambiance with terrible singing to accompany that. Food was ok (at best) for the price, 5/6 wings for $20 is absurd. They should be required to advertise that. After being seated, had to ask for someone to come bring us drinks after 10-15 minutes, then had to go ask for someone to come take our order, then finally had to go ask for the check to be brought . ?♂️ There were only about 5 tables sat so IDK what was going on!?! Highly recommend making the short walk to any number of restaurants in the area!

Nice Rooftop Bar with stunning view over Manhattan from the Terrace and you can also see the statue of liberty on the other side.Good variety of Cocktails, wine and beer (no draft, only bottles). We shared some cajun-fries and fried cauliflower. Both tasted fantastic.
