Walgreen at Summit Ave, Jersey City has a lot of clearance items and items will be found in Orange tags .

Everything you'd want to buy is locked in a display case, which would be fine... if you could actually get an employee to unlock one for you. Literally pointless to shop here since you can't buy anything. Save yourself some time and just go to the CVS a few blocks away.

Absolutely awful.Worst pharmacy in the area. They are almost never open. I constantly have to go to other Walgreens further away because they are simply not open during business hours. It’s also absolutely filthy. My pets have serious medical needs, and the new pharmacy assistant acted like it was a joke. I could see them snickering almost right next to the counter. Our prescription needed a little bit of clarity, but I didn’t understand, I asked if he could reach out to the vet because I’m not exactly sure what they need. I’m just picking up the medicine I’m told to pick up. The main pharmacist flat out told me he would not help me with that. He would not reach out to the vet to determine how much they need, for how long, despite having the prescription right in his hands.I took my prescriptions and will never go here again.I would rather fight the traffic in Hoboken, look for a parking spot for an hour, walk several blocks, then have to deal with the people at this pharmacy who do not care. The only one who does is the young Latin-x person with long black hair. She’s the only exception.I would give this place zero stars if I could.

The managers here are incompetent and devoid of the basic human intergenerational nessisary to operate any type of business. The most simple of issues is enough to derail thirr entire thinking process.

Editing review after 5 years and yet there has been no change in the pharmacy. Even Dr. does not want to deal with this pharmacy. When it was rite aid, everyone was friendly and eager to help you, but since it was taken over by Walgreens, your experience has been a nightmare. If possible, use another pharmacy.

Terrible experience, the people at the pharmacy are way too slow. The attitude giving by the staff terrible. Rather support smaller businesses.

Worst pharmacy experience, called in a prescription. They told it’d be ready by 11, went there at 12. They didn’t have it ready, told me to come back at 2, I was cautious and called this time at 2:30, they told me they still didn’t have it ready. Told me they don’t have that medicine. Don’t go here

Absolutely livid! This was my pharmacy. Collected post surgery meds here and the pharmacist never bothered telling us there was a problem with the most important prescription. Got home before I realised. She knew we needed these and said nothing. She also wanted us to come back just for aspirin as she didn't have any... Switching pharmacies immediately and telling everyone I know to avoid this place.

Pharmacy tech rude and unhelpful. Pharmacist “in a meeting” when I had made my appointment for a Covid booster. If you’re in a meeting, maybe block out that time on the schedule instead of making me wait 20+ minutes in addition to the time I waited by coming early as requested?

Again I had a situation with the Walgreens on Summit Ave by 5th St.They called me on Tues to let me know that I could pick up my Rx the next day at 10am. I didn’t go the next day, I went on Thurs to find out it still wasn’t ready ok not going to lie I was a little upset but what really made my blood boiled was when the tech tells me “Oh but they didn’t tell you to come pick it up” now I’m thinking but how does she know what they told me if she wasn’t even on the phone call. That lady has some nerve smhI’m definitely going to be looking for another pharmacy.

Absolutely completely ridiculous treacherous of a Walgreens and customer service. Go to Hoboken because Caucasian people there will not put up with service as such. I've lived west NNJ and never have I once been treated in the manner I experienced. Basic medication could not be filled with ample amount of time after two days they haven't even billed my insurance properly and lost another medication that was sent electrictronically to there system. If I treated people the way I was treated I'd be in prison! I rely on medication to stay alive! Now I need to risk my own life due to a "Pharmacies" own wrong doing and inadequacies. Ridiculous they closed there windows at 5:30 pm and they close at 6:00 pm. Soon as they saw a line forming because unlike this Pharmacy we actually have jobs that we actually comply with and most of us work 9 to 5's not 4:30 pm if it gets busy. If I lose my life maybe then they'll unstick those fingers up there you know what and do there d**n jobs! Atrocious!

worst walgreen ever. the store manager and assistant manager have so much attitude they don't know how to treat people. Poor cashiers whom have to work under those "manager".. I am following up with a claim that I sent to corporate let's see what they do about it.another thing is; they don't want to sale the products they have in stock.. they say there is limit for sale items. if you don't want to sale a product why do you bring the price dawn????just to confirm everything I just say, just go back and take a look all the others reviews no one has something good to say about this specific store.

This is the WORST Walgreens I've ever been to. I had scheduled a vaccine appointment for my daughter so she is vaccinated and protected against the virus before school starts. We made a call and gave the Walgreens line her information in order to schedule an appointment for the next day and it was confirmed. The day of the appointment we go to Walgreens only to find out they hadn't put our appointment into the system. I tried reasoning with the staff and they gave us quite an attitude. If smaller pharmacies don't need an appointment to vaccine someone, how come a big one such as Walgreens does? Here goes another day without a vaccinated child that has a higher risk of being infected. I do not recommend going to Walgreens if you, your family, or friends want to get vaccinated. Rating this pharmacy even a single star is too much. Thanks for putting my child at risk, Walgreens.
