I am typically not one to complain, but my recent encounter with Western Union has compelled me to share my experience publicly in the hopes that it might prompt some needed changes. I am deeply disappointed with the poor service I received and the unprofessional behavior of one of their staff members. Upon entering the Western Union branch, I was immediately struck by the lack of customer service. The woman I dealt with was not only unhelpful but also had a terrible attitude. Instead of being greeted with a smile or even a simple acknowledgment of my presence, I was met with a dismissive and uninterested demeanor. Her customer service skills were virtually nonexistent. She seemed more interested in rushing me through the process than in ensuring that my needs were met, and she failed to provide essential details about the service I was using. This resulted in confusion and wasted time that could have been easily avoided with a bit of patience and professionalism. What was even more disconcerting was her attitude. She was condescending and rude, making me feel as though I was an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. This unpleasant interaction further tarnished my experience with Western Union. In this day and age, where customer satisfaction should be a company's top priority, it's disheartening to encounter such poor service. Western Union needs to reassess their staff training protocol and reevaluate their customer service standards. The behavior I experienced is simply unacceptable and left a lasting negative impression. I hope that Western Union takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements. Until then, I will be looking for other means to handle my financial transactions.Ps: Madam, using your personal unhappiness as a justification for your current behavior is not an acceptable excuse. It is unfair to blame others for the unfortunate circumstances resulting from your inadequate education and subsequent employment in a low-paying job.

It should be 0 stars. I came to pick up money that was sent from Georgia and the woman tells me my ID has to match the name exactly. I said no problem. Then she tells me she can't do it because my MIDDLE NAME isn't listed by the person sending me the money (My FATHER sent it and we have the SAME last name if that says anything). I ALWAYS pick up money and he NEVER puts my middle name. She said at THIS location, thats how it works. HOW can that make sense ?? If that was a requirement of sending money at western union then I understand and then EVERY state would also be on the same page. But to make up your own rule for this ONE location and literally deny someone makes no sense and is unprofessional. I understand now why it was empty when I went in. It's super ghetto and clearly from previous reviews, barely staying open. It'll be out of business soon.
