I, along with a couple of my companions, did venture into the marketplace with the intent of procuring a volleyball. Lo and behold, we were accosted by three stout guards who declared us banned from the establishment, despite none of us ever having set foot in this Walmart afore. Their demeanor was most uncouth, for they spake not a word in answer to our queries, and did deny us the purchase of the coveted volleyball. I do believe that we were owed at the very least an explanation, for never in our lives had we trespassed upon this Walmart's threshold!

This location has everything but the customer service doesn't make it inviting or welcoming. Ive started to drive farther out for a better experience. They're always rude and unavailable. During my entire experience here Ive only witnessed one worker go above and beyond to assist me in finding an item. Every other time, they're either clueless, fraternizing with other employees, or incognito. I cant stand this Walmart.

I'm not sure how the store and regional management (if the role/person exists) of the Kearny, NJ store can keep their jobs. This store is mismanaged, to say the least. If you are unlucky enough like I have with them many times, they won't pack your order in time and therefore products become unavailable and they substitute the products with a more expensive replacement. They will reschedule your order when they think it's best or they just don't show up. They have drivers showing up and the orders are not ready; and if you're lucky and you actually get your order, if you told them to use bags, they don't. My advice, use and order from another store.

Linden NJ's Walmart is way more spacious, seems more affordable, and has more of a variety in clothing options, than others.

THE WAY THIS STORE HANDLED ME AND KEARNEY WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AND KIND I COULD NEVER BE PAID THEM FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE FOR ME I WILL GIVE THEM THE SHIRT OFF MY BACK IF I COULD. I WILL ASK THE CORPORATION IF I CAN DO SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL FOR THEM IN THE NEXT COMING WEEKS THE WHOLE STORE. I COULD NEVER REPAY THEM ENOUGH THEY WAS CONSIDERATE KIND AND COMPASSIONATE AND THAT'S SOMETHING RARE IN THIS DAY AND AGE. THANK YOU SO MUCH AND GOD BLESS THE FRONT END AT THE WALMART IN KEARNEY NEW JERSEY.GOD BLESS

Terrible experience from delivery to customer service.I ordered 6 packets of pork on 1/30/2024. The shopper said there’s only 3 packets in the store, so I told him to substitute them with meat that has similar price. He said yes. HOWEVER, I ended up receiving ONLY 3 packets of pork, no substitutes. WORSE OFF, I was STILL charged for 6 packets!If you can’t get me the substitutes, WHY you made me pay the EXTRA HOLD for any potential adjustments for my order? For me, my order was $65.19, and the extra hold was $21.41. That’s about 1/3 of my order.Now comes to the customer service.The app’s return feature is USELESS. When I requested for a refund for 3 packets of pork, the system complaint the request CANNOT be completed and asked me to call the customer care. Ok, I did that, and guess what? After taking with two representatives, they told me they were UNABLE to process the refund request and told me to call the local store!Well, the local store, I called them twice, NO ONE was answering.To sum up, Walmart wasted my money and my time. The shopper asked me about substitutes during normal working hours but didn’t make the substitutes. The app’s return feature exists in name only. The online customer care team just passes the buck. The local store’s phone is dead.
