Went to the store for the gift card, the cashier told only accept cash for gift cards, a ridiculous requirement as other store locations does not have problem with credit or debit, people who want to buy gift cards here pls be aware and I will never come back to this store.

I bought a green dot card there put $100 on the card there went to activate it and that card was registered by someone else already
Pluss the same day I bought 4 cans of cat food got home and I was charged for 8 cans on my receipt.
I been calling for 3days now and no one answered at least 15 calls each day and they don't answer.
And that bath room has been out of order for month according to the management there .the board of health should shut them down and answer your dam phone !
This is a update on my green dot card
On july 14 th green dot sent me a gmail stating that they are not responsible for my $100 loss. WOW !

Sk i thought all was lost . Untill the next morning on the 15th I call general dollars headquarters.and they were so nice and understanding a district manager i believe her name was Melissa and she felt terrible about what happened to me.and then she said dont worry we will give you another $100 card or mycash back . Double WOW !!! She said go see Sabrina the store manager and she will take card of it for me . I went to the store and Sabrina was so nice and asked which I preferred another card or the cash . I took the cash . Shd felt so bad about what happened. All the workers there have always been so nice and helpful to me . Ty general dollar store and ty Sabina you're the best

Mottled girl needed to use the bathroom and the cashier said the bathroom is out of order but there was no sign indicating so. The sign said: get the key from the casher. Zero stars.

Upon visiting the Keyport Dollar General store, I encountered an exceptional employee named Jessica. I had been unable to locate the product at other Dollar General stores, but Jessica assured me that they had it in stock and promptly guided me to the aisle.
From the moment I entered the store, Jessica demonstrated remarkable availability and willingness to assist customers, even amidst her ongoing tasks. Her exceptional service transformed my hectic day into a memorable experience, filled with laughter and satisfaction. Jessica’s hard work and dedication to Dollar General and its customers are truly commendable, and I believe she deserves a raise for her outstanding contributions.

Unable to put money on cash app. Cannot purchase gift cards. Person stocking shelves very rude and purposely blocks the isle. Unable to use restroom even as a purchasing customer. Very rude and dirty. Do not go there!!

Only leaving a one star review because of the manager Jason. I went to the store at approximately 9:50pm to get some sugar because my wife’s mother ran out while making some treats. The lights were on but the doors were locked. I called, and Jason answered. I asked if they were open, he said “we close at 10, and I’ve pretty much locked the doors already.” I informed him I just needed some sugar, and that google said they don’t close until 10. He said yeah he already locked the doors and didn’t give much room for conversing in regards to that. I asked who the manager was, and when he said he was I left it at that. Terribly unprofessional, especially since the hours of operation show 10pm, and he even confirmed over the phone.

It was very expensive everything was Sky High you better off in the supermarket you get deals in the supermarket and sales. You get list ounces and you pay more and nothing really is $1.50 it's more than $1.50 I worked right out it's not worth it packaging is smaller

I think everything is now a dollar and a quarter but it doesn't matter these dollar stores are all going out of business pretty fast because less people are going to them. Their price margins just don't cut it and also naming your store a dollar store it turns people off when everything is just a dollar year ago or so. The two biggest are going out of business or cutting half of their stores but I wouldn't be surprised if the prices went up. If you need anything besides laundry detergent you don't want to buy there. But you can buy tape and batteries or whatever gift cards things like that will still be inexpensive. They're all the same

This is always a simple place for quick run. Picked up a few snacks. They have it all here. Seasonal items, food, drinks, tools, cleaning supplies, hair products, hygiene products.
