“Have visited Town Square Laundry for the first time today 10/19/24 and I must admit I am somewhat fanatical with cleanliness, especially when it comes to "public" machines! This laundromat has left such a positive impression regarding such unbelievable cleanliness!! The machines are immaculate and by the time I washed & dried the clothes smelt so clean!! The owner is very friendly and helped with any and all questions. Very impressed by this experience and will definitely retun!”

“I'll up my review to 5 stars if I can get an answer here. Sometimes, when I go in, I have some spare change, coins, but a little while back I tried to exchange a couple quarters, dimes and nickels for a dollar but an elderly man said he didn't have a dollar. What gives? What's the policy on this? I only had coins and the machine only takes bills. If I had a dollar bill there wouldn't have been an issue, but I didn't. I had coins.”
“I came in last minute from out of town to get a dress tailored for a wedding that I was attending the following day. J was not only able to get it done for me but it came out AMAZING and even better than I expected! He is professional, efficient and funny. Thank you so much!”

“You know me when the service is excellent i write, because this was top tier service, was here for work for three weeks and all my dirty clothes were clean and folded real nice and same day turnaround! Oh and the price is unbeatable.”
“I had a lovely white dress that had a stain in it for years! (My fault for not taking care of it sooner…) I wish I had a before picture to show how the stain was so set in. But here is the after picture.
I brought it to them and they reviewed the clothing together with me. They cautioned me upfront that the stain may not come out since it was so old, and asked if I still wanted to proceed. I knew it would be a long shot but they worked their magic and got it fully out.

I can’t remember if they also do tailoring, i’ve only used them for cleaning so far. I have to ask them the next time I stop by. I have a pair of jeans and 2 purses where buttons have fallen off and that prevents me from being able to wear them. I’m hoping they will be able to help me with this too.”
“I've been going here for over 20 years and they are the BEST dry cleaners in central jersey. they have saved me so much money by keeping my clothes in mint new condition and they treat each article of clothing with so much care and respect. the owner and the employees always treat me with kindness and respect and my children love going there just to say hello to the nice owners. their prices are great, especially compared to the expert attention they give to our clothing. i've seen all the other dry cleaners in the area and they don't come close to the great work that matwan cleaners does. “I just moved to the area and came here for the first time on Saturday evening, based on the reviews. There was me and one other couple there. The woman who works there was very pleasant. She could tell I had never been there before and took the time to explain the various payment options in place for doing laundry there, which are quite a few, as well as how to access the parking lot. They have laundry payment cards that you can refill, all the machines also accept debit/credit cards, and they take quarters. The facility was very neat and clean. My only issue is that they don't have smaller machines. They have the large ones for $5.50 and the medium ones for $3.50. I'd generally prefer putting my whites in smaller machines since the load is so small, and the $3.50 machine would be entirely too big for them. The dryers, however are VERY powerful. They're $.25 for 9 minutes and I put my clothes in for 18 minutes, but they were dry within the first 9 minutes. I definitely plan to come here going forward for my laundry needs.”

I got one of my wife's dresses dry cleaned here and it cost almost as much as the dress did ($15). I'd pass on that but otherwise this place is great and veteran owned.”

Service is great from tailoring to any type of cleaning, to working with your schedule. As a service provider myself I appreciate their flexibility. “I brought my wedding dress here to be hemmed at the last minute. I had made an appointment with a seamstress in another dry-cleaners for the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, only to have the seamstress be on vacation when I showed up. I needed my dress back in a week, and tried several places, all with seamstresses on vacation.
When I walked into Bright Star and they told me the seamstress wouldn't be back until next week, I sobbed. It wouldn't be enough time to get my dress hemmed. The lovely woman running the dry-cleaners asked if I would be okay with her pinning it and getting it to the seamstress to do as a rush. Not only was I okay with it, she saved the day. The dress was perfectly hemmed and pressed and Bright Star really pulled through for me.”
