Had an interesting experience today with Tom's Ford in Keyport today. I took my Transit van in because the engine light was on for none of the obvious reasons. I was previously traveling in NC, where I stopped into a local Ford dealership for the same engine light problem. They plugged the van into the computer and showed that I had a voltage issue for some reason. They reset everything and the engine light went off. Btw...they refused to charge me anything which was quite gracious. The next day, the engine light came on again so I decided to bring it to Tom's Ford , which is very close to me . To their credit, they found that the problem was that a rodent chewed a small wire in the engine compartment. My issue is with the almost $850 to replace a couple of inches of wire, which included a large diagnostic fee. Maybe it's me. In the future ,I'll be going to my local garage in Matawan

Toms Ford hit another grand slam. This is the second car I had the chance to buy from Toms Ford and it was a huge success. They make it so easy. The quality of every aspect of my experience is amazing. They answer all my questions and provide insight that I would have not have thought of. I would highly recommend using Toms Ford for all of your vehicle needs.

Made an appointment and went out of my way to come buy the Ford Mustang GT500 and they were utterly rude , unprofessional and unprepared. The unprofessional sales lady was convinced from one look at us that we "couldn't afford the expensive specialty vehicles " inside the tiny showroom. She ushered us immediately outside to the "affordable " cars. We repeated we weren't concerned about price but more about features as this was a leisure car as a gift for myself. She showed me to car and had ME remove all the plastic inside on the chairs , shifter etc... and then had us wait outside 15min in the cold while she got the keys. We finally got inside and she asked US to check the gas which turned out to be completely on empty. She left for another 15min and then said we needed to get out so she could drive the car to get gas. We begrudgingly obliged and when we went inside the showroom and asked why we couldn't test drive the car we came to buy the manager echoed what the sales woman had said " it's only for serious buyers" and I said " so I can't test drive it because you don't think I'm a serious buyer?" He said yes. I took my wife and left the empty dealership and took my business elsewhere. How do these places stay in business?

My family is a Ford family for three generations, 17 Fords over the years. Not any more. Poor design causes a simple repair to be 10x what the cost of a wear item should be! Horrible customer service. Service department customer service is rude and unfriendly. Makes the visit uncomfortable and not worth the return trip. These two individuals need to be placed in back end work and removed from CS.
