Frequently need to stop in to mail packages over the years -- often several to overseas. Even when there is a line, staff has always been friendly and patient, knowledgeable when I've had to double check shipping or purchase other services/supplies.

Both people at the front desk were extremely rude. One lady wouldn't even look up at me, and the man just kept telling me he doesn't have tape for me to close a seam. I'm pretty sure there's tape at the post office, just saying...

Jim at the counter is rude and does not want to help you unless you do everything yourself. I was the only person in there and he refused to let me use the tape and insisted I go home. What a total jerk

Nancy at the front desk was very disrespectful and rude towards my Mom. Didn’t care to look up at her and gave her attitude with everything. worst experience don’t recommend going.

Tanya was so knowledgeable and made the passport process way less daunting than I thought it would be. I was in and out in maybe 20 minutes, and that’s only because I needed a photo taken and I had to wait a few while she helped other customers.As long as you have all the right paperwork and supporting documents, the entire process is seamless.

I have been waiting over 15 minutes to mail a package. There is one person at counter handling passport. No other tellers handling other customers. This is not new at this post office. If they handle passport applications, they need to have other tellers. This is totally unacceptable. This was at the Keyport New Jersey post office

Horrible location, closes before their scheduled time regularly. They will run to lock the doors if they see you coming in 5 minutes before they close

Mailing letters, packages and buying postal supplies should be priority for a Post Office. If someone is getting their passport make sure there is another clerk there to accommodate patrons. On more than one occasion I have had to wait for families to fill out their paperwork, get photos taken, write checks and get explanations of the process. If someone has an appointment to do this put another clerk on duty!!

One of the worst post offices I've ever been to, tried to ship an international package with certain items that I verified 3 times with the post office clerk if it was ok to send. Was told non of my items were prohibited, so I paid $93 to ship it, the package was returned to me a week later and was told I did not meet export regulations. They wouldn't even refund me my money that I paid. Rubin is the most unhelpful "supervisor" in that place and the employees have no idea what they're doing. Save some time and money and don't use this place.

Last Friday, I updated my passport here in Keyport, where the clerk was patient, very helpful and courteous to me for my time even when it exceeded the 15 minutes of the appointment so that my application can be sent to the state dept. for review and approval.

Today I went to the Keyport Post office to get a large money order for my rent, and they were so accommodating, so nice, and so patient. I will never go to another post office again.

I give this post office no star. Customer service is TERRIBLE!!!!! The front lady is so rude. She is very disrespectful and have no respect at all towards customers. She shouldn’t be working as a CUSTOMER SERVICE provider because she definitely doesn’t know how to treat customers. In front of my children she got very nasty and racist when we went to do the passports for them. I will never come back here.
