WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! This groomer is extremely rude and unstable. Do not leave your dog under her supervision. I dropped my adorable mini-golden doodle at 12 noon and she told me she would need 3 hours. I called at 3pm to inquire abt the status and she said she needed more time. I called at 4:30, she said she still needed more time. I called again at 5:30pm and she was so rude, yelling at me to stop calling. Concerned, I showed up unannounced at 6:30pm and she used very abusive language towards me. I told her it had been over 6 hours and was completely unacceptable to keep my dog for that period of time! She was still in the middle of working on my dog and continuing to use very foul language. I told her to stop work on my dog immediately and to give him back to me. I know she let my dog sit there all day while she worked on other dogs and then she had the gaul to continue yelling at me for showing up when I did. It was now 6:45pm and my poor baby had been there for almost 7 hours. I paid her and left using all my might to remain calm and not engage with her. She completely shaved my dog down. There is NO skill applied in what she does. When I told her we were never coming back she threatened me and said she would call all local groomers not to take my dogs. Literally, she is the CRAZIEST person I have ever dealt with!! I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to warn others to stay away from her and protect your dogs!! Like someone said previously, why is there not an option for “0” stars?

I am giving two stars because her work is nice. This is the MOST unprofessional place I have ever been to in my life. They bumped up prices for my Yorkie terrier to 90$ from 65$. I asked her a few times yesterday when she called me asking for business to bring my dogs in and she was so busy telling me about her personal life she kept talking over me. I won’t be un professional and give specifics. I have the entire conversation on my end recorded with my camera in living room camera and she never once provided pricing. I asked so many times because her and her husband were always fighting over pricing in front of my children and husband. She today hung up on my face telling me to go pick up my dog that she would not honor the 65$ pricing I always paid. 30$ difference in a few months is absolutely insane not to mention the fact I drive 30 minutes each way there and back dropping off and picking up. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. These are not show dogs and you do not have an office in Princeton Nj. I am FAR from a cheap person but this is outrageous. Years of dealing with the hostile environment everytime I went and now this!

Horrible experience. This woman did not show up for our first appointment. OK, everyone can make a mistake. She gave me a sob story about having been attacked by a dog (but I had spoken to her a couple days earlier to make the appointment so as a physician I knew that her story was untrue, all the surgeries etc could not have occurred in the three days since we spoke). She promises to stay late on another day to groom my puppy. I bring him there and she tells me it's too difficult a job, I have to come back (this is a 7 lb dog). She tells me he is matted although he is not, I brush him regularly and his hair is lovely, just long. She gives me another appointment and I bring him. She looks at me like she never saw me before, complains about how BAD my dog is, blames him for being a puppy, tells me how bad I am for not disciplining him (he literally did nothing, stayed on the leash or in my arms the entire time, did not pee or poop in her place or anything). She tells me that I will see as soon as she turns on the clippers how bad he is and how awful I am for not training him (I am paying a LOT of money to have him trained as a service dog - but he's a puppy. He still likes to play, although TBH he did not play there, just expressed some curiosity at his surroundings and the other dogs inside). I told her that she must be mixing me up with someone else because she has never turned on the clippers near him. She started telling me how awful both I and my dog are and how I will see. I took him away and recommended she start aricept for her dementia immediately. However based on years of experience I suspect it is alcohol dementia and won't respond to any Alzheimer's Treatments. I know she has existing customers from many years ago, but I expect her to be unfit to work at all in the near future. I'm not one to be angry at people for their mental disabilities but it was still a horrible experience and I don't recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent staff, extremely knowledgeable, and very thorough. My 120lb Lab mix, Christian, is afraid of everything. I found his, "Happy Place" at Fantasia's Grooming!

An excellent groomer for older dogs and ones requiring more care than some other groomers can provide.

The owners are adept at providing service to "special needs" dogs such as my scissor biting poodle and elderly pug with hip disability. This business focuses on skillfully serving the needs of its canine customers and their human companions. They earn five stars for both high quality grooming and customer care.

We have been going to them for two years now and my lab and yorkie ALWAYSCome out happy and looking the best ever. This husband-and-wife duo are not only funny but professional and really know what they’re doing. If you’re reading this this is your sign to bring your puppies in!

Absolutely Horrible! If you don’t care about people dictating to you what they want to do with your dog and how your dog gets groomed/haircut then take your dog here. Spend $80 or more for something you didn’t ask for.The three times I took my dog here they did the absolute opposite of what I asked for. They are lazy groomers and just shave your dog all the way down and blame it on some mats on your dog. The woman likes to brag about her years of experience and awards but it’s definitely bull based on the results not once, not twice, but three times! The husband kept calling me every moo asking me to bring my dog. When I called to question why his wife had cut my dogs face so low when I gave her a picture and explained multiple times what I wanted she hung up in my face.I’m so sorry I paid them my hard earned money!Horrible experience all three times. Never again !!Please don’t bring your dog to these people. You will be sorry! There needs to be a Zero stars choice!!

SO RUDE! I never actually got to get my dog groomed here and never will now. Owner called me 2 weeks ago and asked if I wanted an appt in 2 weeks. Very odd, but I said sure since I knew my dog would likely need a grooming soon. I called today to cancel the appt as I got him in somewhere else sooner but wanted to still give 24hr or more notice. He asked me where and I told him the place and he said "glad you got him groomed. DON'T EVER CALL HERE AGAIN WHEN YOU'RE IN A BIND" and hung up the phone!! I knew something was off with this place when I got a call begging for an appointment when every other groomer is booked out for months even. Could've been the best grooming ever but I will not be doing business with them ever!

I am extremely unhappy with the groom. I understand my pup was matted. I understood that she needed to be shaved. But I begged to only trim her face lightly. When I picked her up I was horrified and cried all night. Her face was cut way too much. She doesn’t even look like the same dog. I feel like my dog is feeling naked and ashamed. I just don’t understand. I am the owner. I am paying you. Why couldn’t you listen to what I wanted. Very unhappy

This groomer and her husband are amazingly not responsive, I tried twice to get my dog groomed there and when the husband answered the phone, he asked if I had gotten my dog groomed there and when I told him "no, not yet", he put his wife on the phone and she told me she would call me back. I never got a call back. I guess they don't need the business.

I have a lot of anxiety about getting my dog Stela’s nails clipped. She has “fiddle” feet. Very protective of how people touch them! This couple IS the best! So kind and sweet! Can’t thank them enough!

So, here we are in the time of a pandemic where everything is shut down. I was a tad upset that groomers were closed as I thought that was one business where we could practice safe distancing and they could do one dog at a time. Well as soon as Governor Murphy opened up dog grooming, I contacted Fantasia and spoke with Randy. I had previously been using Pet Smart and other groomers but decided to try Fantasia. Firstly, they took their time grooming my dog Sophie. I don’t know if that is the normal practice but I hope it is. My dog looked beautiful when Randy brought her out to my car. She wasn’t shaved too short and she had that teddy bear look which I love on my Cockerpoo. It looks like they went over everything: ears, nails, hygiene, eyes were clean, butt, etc. Price is competitive to that of other groomers. I found Debbie to be extremely friendly and I could tell she loves, loves animals. Very easy to communicate with and she listens. I highly recommend this grooming service as they are definitely not new to the dog grooming business. PetSmart brought in new people constantly and it was a bit anxiety provoking. Plus, I heard horror stories about PetSmart. Fantasia is family owned and you will have the same groomer at each visit. Thank you Debbie and Randy!

This is my first Yelp review but the outrageous actions of Debbie, the owner at this establishment, must be made public. DO NOT ENTRUST FANTASIAS WITH YOUR BELOVED DOGS!!!! Has anyone ever seen the grooming area? You aren't allowed to!!! My dog was unable to move for two days after leaving there and needed emergency vet care! I still don't know what happened to her there but I suspect she was required to stand on a table, strapped in, for several hours during her treatment!! When I went to retrieve my pup, Debbie proceeded to scream profanities at me and my 15 year old daughter!! She certainly does not care about animals, not to mention the filthy facility where she does her grooming! I've given Fantasias a single star because no star is not an option! BEWARE!!
