Pharmacy was great in the past. On two occasions my prescription was called in and Rite Aid Pharmacist confirmed receipt of the prescription at 9:30 am. I was told they will fill the prescription and I will get a text when it’s done. I called at 1:28 (because I was on so much pain) and was told my prescription has been ready but they close the pharmacy till 2 pm because they all go to lunch at the same time. Just wondering if this was someone in excruciating pain to keep suffering with pain while they go to lunch. They should have a plan to not shut down the pharmacy. Maybe rotate employees so people can pick up their prescription so the whole department doesn’t shut down. I tried to explain to the lady who picked the phone that I was in some discomfort and her replay was well we are going to lunch come back later.

I am a loyal customer of Rite Aid Forked River. I particularly use the pharmacy for 1 reason. I get fantastic service from the pharmacy staff. Crystal is professional, courteous, friendly and always has a minute to discuss my needs with open arms and a smile. Nikki is professional, friendly, extremely helpful and treats me like a family member! Both these girls are always working hard and are a great asset to the Rite Aid team. The pharmacist Lauren is wonderful. Lauren is extremely intelligent, friendly, respectful and always ready to come out in front of the counter to personally guide me to answer my question! I respect and love all three of these hard working women. Their accuracy on filling scripts and there genuine concern for everyone's needs, is why I do my business with these (I am sure overworked and underpaid,) 3 outstanding Rite Aid employees!Thank you Lauren, Crystal and Nikki. The pharmacist this evening was OBNOXIOUS. I called to ask a simple question. My daughter's medication is on backorder and due to some paperwork issues, we will have a short lapse in her insurance. I'm not a pharmacist so idk how things are billed. I was unsure as to whether it was already put through insurance today when it was sent in or if they do that when the actual prescription is filled. Pretty simple question, right? She jumped down my throat and said "I CAN'T CREATE A FAKE CLAIM". As though that's what I was requesting her to do. Not once did I insinuate I was expecting anyone to do anything .. I asked a question and she was so incredibly rude.We need this prescription. Once it's filled Friday, I'll be changing pharmacies. This place has been terrible for years but it's in a somewhat convenient location for me. I'd rather drive to CVS or ShopRite than give them more of my money.The hours are wrong online, in the app, on the door, on the window. It's a guessing game. And even in the mid afternoon if you go to the drive thru window, you're waiting a minimum of 20 mins.I'm done with this place.And to the pharmacist I spoke to tonight ... I hope being nasty to me made you feel a little better about yourself.

Pharmacy personnel are not friendly and very disrespectful. The store itself is understaffed and seems unable to provide any services upon request. Customer service needs to be addressed. Pharmacy service and personnel needs to be addressed.

The staff is some of the most rude people I've ever come across. They have 0 customer service. Always impatient and nasty. If I could give zero stars I would.

The pharmacy was great for so many years and unfortunately, it is awful anymore!! One time I went to the drive thru and waited almost 20 minutes. I saw a worker through the window who seemed to be ignoring me. I decided to go inside and I said something to the guy behind the counter about waiting for so long in the drive thru and he got nasty with me and said I guess the sign fell down saying the drive thru was closed. He was rude to me the entire time I was there. The next time I went again I waited at the drive thru for 20 minutes for the guy to tell me I have to come inside. Today, I get a phone call telling me my prescription is ready to be picked up today so I go this afternoon to pick it up and they are closed. I am officially done with them and will be changing pharmacies this week.

Your Google listing says the pharmacy is only open until 1:30pm. The sign at the front of the store says the pharmacy is open until 9pm. The automated message when you call says the pharmacy is open until 9pm. Just walked in, because the drive thru is closed, at 8:20pm and was told the pharmacy closes at 8. When I said "just so you know the recording on the phone says you guys are open until 9" I was met with "well, it's wrong on there, but the signs are posted" see attached photo for the "signs that are posted" - clearly states 9pm on Tuesdays.

My family has been using this Pharmacy since it's been there. We have had problems with meds not being ready when we arrive eventhough we were called by them and told they were ready. Last straw was when my 101 yo Mom ran out of meds on a Saturday 2/5/22 and I was told they couldn't refill the script or give us a couple pills to bridge the gap until new script was called in Monday. Pharmacist was no help, she just rationalized the situation with no regard for the medical impact.

This pharmacy was great for many years! Now it is awful! The customer service in the pharmacy is the worst. On many occasions in the last 4 months or so the drive up window is closed for no apparent reason! Sometimes without even a note on it. When there is a note it's a quick hand written note. There was even a day that the drive through and the pharmacy itself was closed even though it was during normal hours!!! I don't understand why this department is run so poorly. It's not like we are purchasing non vital merchandise these are medications that are important and needed. The irony is that the rest of the store is awesome! I am working on switching to another pharmacy and mail-order for my regular medication. Very very disappointed in this management!during normal hours . I went 2 days in a row to pick up my medication and the pharmacy was closed. I'm looking in to

When they are open they are lovely!! Not the staffs fault but management needs to properly staff this location. It’s closed you have no idea and are waiting to pick up meds for being sick. No one wants to deal with recalling a physician and having them sent elsewhere. The staff are friendly and helpful when there but at least post online when you are going to be closed so we can make arrangements. Management please hire staff!! Maybe sign on bonus and more pay. They do work hard.

Lately the pharmacy is a joke. Drive in closed, and even though I called to confirm my prescription was ready it was wrong when I got there. Then I was told it would be 2 hours until it would be ready.

Poor service drive thru pharmacy waited 20 minutes to come up to the window to be asked to loop around the building to be back behind the line again to wait again even when the orders should have filled prior .

Rude staff. Also never answers calls anymore. Wait time while picking up is ridiculous. This has been going on for a while but worse in the last few months. Time to change my pharmacy again. Company should hire competent and friendly people. I would advise for others to go elsewhere!
