We recently had a major repair to our main furling system. While the mast was down we had all rigging replaced.The brand new sail was actually stuck inside the mast, making the job uniquely complicated! The team at Silver Cloud handled the project with great skill and professionalism, even providing my wife and I with emotional support! If you’re a sailor, you know what I mean!The entire job was completed perfectly and as quickly as possible, allowing us to enjoy the majority of the sailing season. Dave, Tom, Chris and the folks at Silver Cloud are the best in the business.We wouldn’t let anyone else work on our boat

Terrible experience! I live almost an hour from SCHM, so I called ahead about the new EPropulsion electric outboard motor to make sure they had the right one in stock. They asked me to bring in my old gas engine so they could measure the length of the engine shaft. No mention ever in this conversation that they charge an extra 3% for using a credit card!When I got to the Marina and was informed of this charge I almost left, but 1 1/2 hours to get a check seemed crazy, so I decided to pay the extra $93 and stayed. Then he asked if I wanted the carry bag for $150, and I pointed to the sign in the store that stated that the carry bag was free with the purchase of the motor. He said “No that promotion is over” and that he “just likes the sign”.Finally when I said I wanted to purchase the motor he proceeded to take the shaft from the floor model that had been used for displaying the engine working in water. I said that it is used so can I get a new one? He insisted it was new even as he said it was only used in fresh water. He even said “used”! So I asked for a discount because it was used, but he kept insisting it was new.Incompetence bordering on insanity. I would give them 0 stars if I could!
