For everyone that goes to Lakehurst Dollar General do yourself a favor go elsewhere the lady who works there is so rude clearly does not like her job and should find another one. Employee name is Claudia. I have been there several times and she's absolutely miserable. Not to mention two times I was there. She took a phone call in the middle of a transaction one time in front of me and one time another day was my transaction turned around and got another employee to take over the register as she walked away on her phone. I don't usually post names, however, after three times of dealing with her I must say Dollar General. Please consider who you hire. People should not have to go all the way out of their way when they live right in Lakehurst because of rude employees. I am sure that I will not get a return response from anyone here at Dollar General but hopefully people will read my review and stay away. Thank you all and remember you don't deserve to be spoken to like anyone is better than you. As I said go to the other Dollar General, the one on 571 or the one in whiting both in which have great people.

They don’t close there doors at ten they close 3 to 4 mins early . ITS RIDICULOUS . When people are in the parking lot 2 mins before 10pm or 3 mins before 10 O clock and you walk up . And they just shut the door and lock them and say there closed I’m so over it and that store..

Dollar General is my go to place for picking up just a few items like milk & something for dinner on the way home.The parking here is much easier than doing battle for a spot at the grocery stores.

Heather is absolutely amazing she personally helped me out with a situation concerning a receipt so my husband wouldn't have any issues with his military travel card and I absolutely thank her so much and glad she works at this location now she is a really hard worker and I hope she is appreciated at work

A lot of items are out of stock often. Also, they are extremely under staffed, so they will close at 330pm. I've never seen this before at any store.

What a shame this used to be a good store see a lot of upper management leaning hanging out in front of the store. Thank God they put that self-checkout there there's one person who works there is very grumpy and ask too many personal questions. I hope things turn around staff wise.

Three pigs would rather eat pizza than help the line of people waiting to check out. I would NEVER go back to those rude pig women.I hope the realize there are Dollar General Stores every 2 miles. LOL!! Eat up piggies..

Clean, very helpful and polite.Well how things have changed, they just lost a lot of money because they couldn't ring us up while three employees sat stuffing their faces with pizza and wanted us to wait while our frozen items melted and then proceeded to follow us out of the store screaming at us not to come back to the store, not a problem, I wouldn't ever walk in their door again!!!! No stars for this establishment. Way to keep your customers happy.
