“I go to your store at least once a week to get milk and various cleaning stuff and paper goo goods. I go to Jackson usually, Never have had a problem. Today I went to get several things and needed a cart. There were none outside, or inside . I settled for a few things a put them in the small basket. I am 75 years old and mentioned it the the blonde lady who checked me out. I told her the were no carts out side and it was pouring rain and I could no go looking for one because I was afraid of falling. She very nicelytold me that the next time I should bringmy kids to help me????. I won’t return to that store!”

“I go to both Dollar Tree and Dollar General. I can't figure out for the life of me why there are two dollar stores within such a close proximity in Jackson but I digress. Dollar Tree has cheaper prices for certain items such as greeting/holiday/birthday cards. They also have a lot more items in the arts and crafts department alongside Dollar Tree carrying some different items altogether. All the employees that I have encountered are very friendly and helpful.”

“I wish I could give the manager Gary 20 stars for what I just witnessed in your store. An older gentleman was very very very rude to him getting very loud and close accusing him of having an agenda because he didn’t want to sell a certain drug to a child under 18. Being a manager myself Gary was only doing the right thing and following the law making sure the child doesn’t overdose on a drug he’s not allowed to legally purchase. Way to go Gary you were amazing!”

“I love,love, love!! My dollar Zone They always have everything I need when I go there. The people who work there are very nice, very friendly. They always ask me if I have found everything I was looking for. They are all very nice workers! The atmosphere is wonderful! Very inviting and they always have new things coming in every week. They even have good name brand items that are 1 dollar! That's a big deal for people who very little money to spend. It really is a great store! Love it! I am there at least 4 times a week.”

“This particular Dollar General is located just outside my neighborhood so it's convenient for me to go to this one. However, it's very messy and not very well stocked. The employees are overworked and dragging through their day. I've had a few vent to me about working 70+ hrs a week, every new employee they higher quits within the 1st few days. I see the same 2 women employees working daily. It's quite obvious that the brunt of this store's operation is on their shoulders. They are unable to keep up with the daily tasks with it just being them. You can see that the store is taking a big hit and is becoming run down. It's a mess.. plastic on the floors, many palettes of merchandise are taking up the floors every which way you turn. Something needs to he done.”

“I come in Dollar General frequently. I absolutely love the lower prices on brand name items. I always have the DG app handy for any additional savings for additional savings. My one main complaint is that I do not like how a lot of times there are shipment carts blocking the entrance to the aisles. Others have stated that the employees are on their phones all the time and I have noticed that too. However, I have seen this at a lot of different places of employment nowadays so for me it's par for the course. Otherwise, I personally do not have any gripes about this location or store.”

“manager Sandra and stocker Tyson are amazing in this store. they are so helpful and kind. this used to be one of the worst dollar trees in manchester, i have been coming in here for years and had terrible customer service, attitudes, everyone in the office sitting around talking while theres one cashier on the floor. now i come in and im greeted at the door by tyson with a great big smile, he helps everyone with their bags and sandra is running around helping customers and helping the cashiers all with smiles and i watched her opening her boxes and putting so much stuff out on the floor. i went in on monday and felt so happy with the service, absolutely amazing. not to mention all the great upgraded stuff. i am so happy with this dollar tree now. im hoping with this post they get recognition or a raise or something. keep up the good work you two.”

“Bi-Coastal, and a visitor in between ?, I LOVE every single one of my local DollarTrees!! I have help put together one from a bare room, worked at one... hell, was even dedicated enough to get FIRED from one!! ? Ahhh, to be young again...But this small diamond in the rough- located between an oversized, overpriced, At Home store and some annoying construction (pretty clever construction signs though) off of the most inconvenient- at times- roads in Brick... remember when there was a Kmart and a walking bridge that connected the two roads?... IS STEPPING UP ITS GAME! <-- yes it was a run-on (and on again) sentence, but I made it back to my point... new isles w/ new prices!! C'mon, we all know when it became $.25? the new selection was AWESOME... Granted it sucks to have the same things you bought for years raise in price... Look around, this is surely not news to you... Perhaps taking a cue from dollar general, Dollar Tree has added items for $3, $5, and I believe I saw a $7 item? I can't be sure, I wasn't prepared for this type of nonsense, so overwhelmed... It was... glorious. Word is, yeah I got it like that, that they're gonna expand the other ones to include isles with this as well. I'm not a fan of change and I unfortunately feel I've learned that every time something changes it loses its awesomeness. Thank God I also learned there are some exceptions to everything you've learned. And I take in this new Dollar Tree approach excited as balls!...Had to”

Now at dollar general I have earned my keep created better bonds with my Co workers all of them. And we work hard regardless of our pay because we are once again all nearing retirement or just starting ? ????”

“100% better shopping experience at this store, than I didn't even get to have at the Freehold store! All thanks to all the welcoming employees at this store. Wish I could say the same for the freehold store but heck "NO" sadly all due to one very rude mistreating customers employee! He probably should not be working in the retail industry at all because he clearly doesn't know how to provide customer service by properly communicating & interacting with guests to build an inclusive guest experience, adapt to different customer interactions and situations, promoting & selling products and/or services.
