“We were looking for a place to get both our dogs groomed at the last minute, we called and although they were fully booked they fit us in same day! Both On the phone and in person everyone there was a pleasure to deal with. Our little pup has had some issues in the past getting groomed so he is a tough one, but they handled him like professionals. Even the owner came over and introduced herself. We got them back and they looked absolutely amazing. Couldn't have had a better overall experience. So happy we found them and will for sure be using them in the future for all our pet needs. Thank you!”

“08/20/2025: Another purchase @Tractor Supply. I like the product layout for feeds, and the prices are competitive. 06/23/2025: Made a purchase at Tractor Supply @ Toms River for the first time. I was looking for various feeds. They have a wide product assortment and competitive prices. The Tractor Supply associates were helpful. During checkout, I was offered help with the large feed bag items. I will certainly continue to shop here.”

“They are amazing! We used to never be able to get our one dog’s nails cut because she’s very anxious. The vet could never unless they knocked her out (very scary to witness tbh, and you’re always afraid something will go wrong). But not these Ladies at Barones. Sue cut her nails just fine when we took her to get groomed - said she just did it while she was in the tub. And then today Kim was also able to swiftly get her nails cut; she didn’t use the tub like Sue, just had us hold her and went quickly while cutting (not so fast as to make her bleed either) and gave my dog any pauses she needed to calm down. Got through her nails in like 10 minutes!
They’re good, seriously.
Their grooming is also excellent, both dogs come back clean, soft, and fluffy.

“My dog died yesterday, but for years we brought her to Highland Kennel. We always had a good experience there and our dog seemed to have a nice time as well. No anxiety or other issues or concerns when we picked her up. It's hard to write this today. She was a 12 year old lab mix. A wonderful girl. RIP Miss Dixie.”

“By far, hands down … the best experience I’ve had purchasing fish. Aaron and Liz made my entire experience pleasant, while coaching me through the aquarium process. I left feeling more confident about owning fish.
Honestly, you probably could find this stuff cheaper on Amazon. But you don’t get an Aaron and Liz there. It’s about keeping small businesses alive.
If you’re thinking about starting a tank, this is the place to go. Tell them Erin sent you and maybe they will throw in some free fish food!
Additionally, I’ve seen fish in their tanks that I’ve never seen before at the chain stores.

“I had a particular setting in mind because sadly I lost both of my dogs within three months and wanted two stones set together. Katharine was so incredibly kind and helpful and communicated with me every step of the process of making my stones and giving me all the information my jeweler needed to create the setting. During such a sad time Katharine was so sweet and caring and did the most amazing job on my stones. They are absolutely beautiful. I just got my ring back from the jeweler today and couldn’t wait to show her. I cannot recommend highly enough.”

“This review is long overdue, but I want to give a huge shout-out to Debbie, the manager. She was absolutely amazing! I’ve had my girl ferret for almost five years now, and sadly her brother passed away from adrenal disease. When we went into Petco, we noticed two beautiful boys who had been there for a while. We finally decided to inquire about them, and Debbie was so incredibly kind to allow us to bring our girl in for a meet-and-greet to make sure they would get along.
The visit went wonderfully, and they came home with us that very day! They are the cutest, most energetic little boys, and we couldn’t be happier.

I like shopping here better than Walmart or target because they have everything in one place. I've only tried the grooming service here once and they did a good job. I've shopped here a bunch of times and it was always gone so id recommend them if your local and need something for a pet.”

“Such a great family-owned business! Once I realized that they carried the dog food that we use, I started to order here to support a local business. The bonus is that it's priced the same as the bigger chain store I had been going to. Even if it was higher, I have seen that the family gives back to the community and helps those in need. With 5 dogs (2 giant breed, 1 large breed, and 2 small/med) it is so convenient to order delivery every 2-3 weeks. They are so sweet and send some extra little bones with the order. Last order I received was packed by students, so it is nice to see that they are also teaching the younger generation some hands-on learning! Staff is so nice and helpful! I definitely have to take a ride there with a pup or 2 to visit!”
