“By far the best post office. I absolutely love the ladies in the front. Millie and Shawnt’e are the sweetest and so helpful. I don’t live in Wharton but I’ll always go to this post office just because of these beauties! So kind and friendly.”
“I had such a great experience at this post office that I had to leave a review. I went in yesterday because I had lost my receipt for a package I mailed out, and I desperately needed the tracking number. What felt like an impossible situation, Postmaster John Porada was able to solve. He went above and beyond to help me, and I am so grateful for his kindness and patience.
I also want to mention how friendly the entire staff is. From John to William, to the sweet woman at the front counter with the beautiful blue eyes (I don’t know her name yet) — every single person is warm, helpful, and welcoming. Usually when I visit other post offices the employees seem rushed or a little rude, but that is not the case here.
I’ll never go to another post office. I’m truly happy to have found this one!”

“Hopatcong post office took care of delivery problem I had; staff is always super friendly & helpful. I had a package that was “undeliverable” and Hopatcong tracked it down and delivered however Dover post office was at fault from the beginning. Hopatcong took the liberty of handling the problem. In all the years I have been a resident I never ever had a problem with Hopatcong post office. It’s always Dover. Why?”
“I have had a PO BOX for close to 10 years.I can't comment on home delivery but delivery to my box has been spot on, even if it has my home address the handlers recognize my name.The women at the desk have always been polite and professional.”
“I really don't understand the hate for this post office. The employees are polite when I go there to drop off packages, and the man who seems to be the manager has helped me out in several issues I've had, with lost internal parcels or reclaiming money after receiving damaged packages.
I remember coming to this place several years ago and the people were just sad and angry. This is completely different. Not wotth their 2/5 rating”
