Three years ago when we were just arrived in Lawrenceville, my wife's 2006 Honda Accord needed brakes. I Googled 'auto repair shops near me' and up popped Bob's. The brakes and rotors were replaced . Wayne is knowledgeable, skilled and friendly. Our aging Accord has been back several times for repairs to various things. I'm always happy with the work, the timely manner in which it's done, and the cost. Bob's Auto Service has my highest recommendation.

Went here because I needed brakes and rotors done. The reviews about reasonable pricing and 25 plus years of experience drew me in. I dropped my vehicle off and didn't hear anything the whole day so figured they didn't get to my vehicle. I called this morning and they said it was done and ready. I asked what the cost was because it wasn't discussed prior. I feel like it's common business practice to contact the customer prior to doing any work with an estimated price. This did not happen. Had I known the cost of the work would be over 1k I would have gone somewhere else. I may be wrong and I will admit that I am, if I am, but $480 in labor and the additional work listed seems a bit inflated and outrageous. I won't be taking our vehicles back here again.

Owner is very capable and honest. Great service and fair price. I would definitely stick to this shop for future car maintenance. I needed oil change. They are very fair about pricing. My car have some other minor issues such as low tire pressure, etc. The owner took care of them.

Just gave them a call inquiring about a pre-purchase inspection I was looking to have done. They asked where I was getting the car from and were truthful in suggesting the fact I probably don't even need one done due to the reputation of the dealership I'm buying from, but if I still wanted one, they offered to at a much more fair price than local certified dealerships did. They could've very easily gave me a price and done some quick inspection just to pocket a few bucks but instead were honest and real in their opinion. I don't live in the area or else this simple transaction would've been enough to give them a shot the next time I need something done to my car.

I recently needed a complete brake system repair on MY BMW X5. I wish to thank Bob's for doing an excellent job and costing less than 50% of what BMW would have charged.Not only did the complete the job faster than they estimated. The did an excellent job and charge me a much more reasonable price than BMW.This is not the first time I have work done on my BMW by this shop, and each time they did thr job excellent, took good care of my vehicle during the time they were working on my car..I highly recommend before having any basic mechanical repairs or maintenance done on your foreign try this shop first as the treat pepper honestly, fairly, and can help you save lots of money over car dealers typical costs for basic maintenance and repairs.

I showed up without an appointment because my car started making a terrible metallic sound a few hours prior. I was asked to leave the car for the day but given I am not from the area and came in because of proximity and good reviews, I told him I couldn't but wondered if he thought it was okay for me to drive an hour home. He came outside to listen to the noise and immediately realized what it was (a rock lodged behind something metal) and fixed it on the spot!He didn't have to take the time to come outside to listen to the noise given his busy day but he did and it ended up keeping my work day on track and costing nothing (although of course I gave him something). Great experience with Wayne on getting a new starter for my Audi. Very quick service -- was expecting things to take a few days but ended up getting the car back right before closing! They provide a 2-year warranty as well which is great for peace of mind with our older car. Thank you Wayne and Bob!

My 15 year old car was due for an oil change and service. I always took it to the dealer for service since new without any problems until recently. I won't go into the details but after the last visit to the dealer I won't be going back there again. Now I had to find a reliable repair shop. I used to do oil changes and the like myself but my days of rolling around on the garage floor are long gone. I had a coupon so I made an appointment at a major chain for Monday morning. That turned out to be a total waste of time, literally. I sat in the waiting room for 90 minutes while my car sat in the same space I parked it in when I got there. I finally gave up and left. Needless to say, I won't be going back there again either. So, I decided to try Bob's, the local repair shop right here in Lawrenceville. I had a couple of flat tires repaired at Bob's over the years and I don't know why I didn't just go there in the first place! Maybe because my wife suggested it and I hate it when she's always right! :( :DI stopped in to Bob's on the way home that same morning and we made an appointment for Wednesday morning. I brought my car in on time and went home to have breakfast. I got a call a little over an hour later saying my car was ready and headed back over to Bob's. The oil change was done right, all the fluids were checked and topped off, and I didn't have to wait all day. Bob's price was very fair, I didn't need a coupon, and the convenience was priceless!Bob and Wayne were friendly and professional. My car is running great! I'll be bringing my car back to Bob's again the next time I need service or repairs.

Had my brake pads replaced here 8 months ago. Driveable, was told the brake sensor would go off within a week. It didn’t. They ended up putting both inner pads on one side and outer pads on the other and didn’t connect the brake sensors at all. Ended up having to have it redone elsewhere. They did not seem competent with Audi.Services: Auto maintenance
