Lidl in Lawrence Shopping Center is a first-rate grocery store. Managers and staff are always helpful and courteous.
Favorite items:
Boneless chicken thighs, which can be prepared in a variety of ways; beef cubes for stew; all fresh produce, like apples, pears, and mini-cucumbers; Lidl Original canned stewed tomatoes; Oats by Lidl, a quick cook oatmeal; Tide detergent; and, an assortment of shampoos, especially Cien Nature.
Seasonal purchases:
Ream of printer paper, amazing birdwatching binoculars, and a full length mirror.
Popular stores, like Lidl, often have long checkout lines and few cashiers. Be patient. Be polite. Be kind. Lidl is a gem of a grocery store!

I live less than five minutes from this store and will avoid it to go anywhere else for food. Every time I’ve been here there are excessive lines at the register. Every time I’m here the staff and managers are sour faced and act like it’s offensive to them to assist a customer.

Very clean. Great selecton. All stables are available, as well as items I did not think I would find there. Price was fair. Service is nice and accommodating. My go-to market when in area.

I don’t know about others but I like lidl a lot. Good prices. And can you believe they have Arizona tea for .88 cents. Never seen it that low before , very nice ?

Dirty, often out of basic items, long checkout lines open and close randomly while you're standing in them. The last time I was there (mid-morning) the "fresh bakery" consisted of a few stale loaves of bread and some boxes of donuts obviously brought in from elsewhere. Produce aisle features mostly bagged salad mixes and overpriced pre-packaged fruit and vegetables. Deli is all pre-packaged, deli meat section was nearly empty. Meat section was randomly stocked. Large pallets of merchandise are left blocking aisles. Employees are generally friendly and helpful, but there don't seem to be many of them. One employee, however, is aggressive and confrontational with customers and was overheard talking loudly to himself about how much he hates the customers and his job. Perhaps he needs to be encouraged to find a job elsewhere that suits him better?
It's a pity this store is so poorly stocked and managed because they do have some good products at good prices, but overall, it's so hit or miss that it's not worth the effort.

This store is a mess. They often don’t have basic staples in stock (like 2% milk and lemons) and the produce is of unpredictable quality. You have to check the labels very carefully here because there are expired products snuck in everywhere. Especially in the dairy and deli sections. Things are dirty and the staff is not very friendly or helpful. The parking lot is mess too. I try to make this Lidl my local grocery store, but have had to move on from it to better, more consistent options.
