I haven’t been to this practice since 2018. At my last visit, they insisted on collecting a payment from me before I was seen. I kindly asked them to just bill it, but they struck up a back and forth discussion, stating that I had to make a payment to be seen. That was my last straw with the place. All of a sudden a few months ago, they called me to collect $90 on my account from 5 years ago. 5. Years. Ago. I made a payment. The next time they called me, I happened to be admitted in the ER, while pregnant, and having surgery on my kidney. I told them, and they still asked me to make a payment of $25. I said sure whatever and hung up extremely angry that they had no professionalism or consideration to call back at a better time. Fast forward to this week, they called me two days in a row to collect the $40 left. I didn’t answer and they called my MOM asking her to get in touch with me. I’m an adult, why are you calling my mother? Better question, why didn’t you just send the $90 to collections 5 years ago, or write it off? And now we’re making a big deal about $40? Sure I can pay it, and I did, but now I’ll make a big deal too. Anyway, I’m not going to give this place 1 star because that’s petty. Dr. Narula was a sweet doctor and the reason I will give them 3 stars, despite my frustration. I don’t post reviews ever, but I’m putting this out there because my experience may be something to consider before choosing your doctor/practice. Sure it can be looked at as “well you should’ve paid your balance” and I take responsibility for that, but this should have been handled differently on their end. No one wants to be in care of someone that just wants their money.

Dr. Shaik saved my life. I was reluctant to take statins, but he was concerned for my heart health. Finally, I got a calcium score test that showed that I needed to investigate further. Under the care of a cardiologist, I took further tests and a statin. Now my bloodwork is perfect. Dr. Shaik has also been helpful to my children and wife. I learned recently that, if you cannot get through their phone system, ask to speak with a nurse. Whenever we've had any major health issues, Dr. Shaik has made room in his schedule.

I have been visiting PrincetonFamilyCare since last 6 years and have been having really great service. Dr Shaikh and Dr Narula are the best doctors here and the staff is so kind. Dr Shaikh gave enough time understanding the issue and gave his best suggestion. It worked like a charm. Thanks you Princeton Family Care

This is my favorite dr office and it always will be. The physicians are knowledgeable and kind. They always make sure they explain things and that all my questions are answered before I leave. They have supported me through my health journey thus far and are continuing to do so. The front desk staff is also incredible and kind.

Back in 2010 Dr. Shaikh was my dad's physician. I was impressed with the manner and thoroughness of how he treated my dad. 5 years later I transitioned to Princeton Family Care and I'm getting the same excellent service. My wife and I are very happy with doctors and staff.

All the staff at PFC are very professional and work hard to help all patients in a timely manner. Recently they have decided to go to a more holistic approach and want to focus on the patient load they currently have during this challenging time. As a healthcare professional, I can validate that it is VERY challenging to provide the highest quality care for a large population, thus the reason why they are currently not accepting new patients. I confidently say that PFC is the best practice in the area.

I’ve been calling for the last six months to make an appointment and they keep telling me they’re NOT taking new patients, to call back in a few months, it’s ridiculous!

Dr. Shaikh is my primary care physician. His name is on my medicare card. I have gone to this practice since I moved to NJ in 2016. I am a very healthy person and I have had no need to make an appointment with them in 3 years. In my time of need when I did need them I called to make an appointment and was told I was no longer a patient since I have not been there in 3 years. They told me to visit the ER instead that they could not help me. I filed a complaint with Medicare. Even Medicare couldn't believe that they treated me this way, especially without any notice. I was never told it was a requirement that I had to see them with a certain time frame to remain their patient. I think this is a terrible way to treat a person in need and is very unprofessional for a physician. Are they in it for just the money? Because I am a healthy person and haven't made them money they remove me from their patient care? It does not make sense for a physician to be able to do this. BEWARE!
