“Along with always efficiently processing my package shipments, I want to shout out the staff for helping me get back my lost wallet. It must have fallen out of my car when I got out and the finder posted on social media they had turned it in to the store. The manager even went out of his way to call and put my credit cards on hold until he got it back to me. Very appreciative and a sigh of relief!”

“This is the best post office I have ever used. The staff are friendly and helpful and are always willing to go the extra mile for their customers. My wife and I use the post office very frequently to send out packages for our side business. Whereas other post offices have treated us as a nuisance, the Three Bridges Post Office always welcomes us and we have never lost a package. We mostly deal with Paul, who is absolutely amazing. He is so great, in fact, that he should be made Postmaster General! But in all seriousness, if every post office was like Three Bridges, no one would ever complain about the postal service again.”

“It was a new dropoff off for UPS SINCE THE nearest UPS closed its doors.They didnt have labels on hand but could print them out. The service was slower but effective and phone was busy, we had two boxes of family pics going to two different states. They were both delivered safe and sound and on time.”

“I really don't understand the hate for this post office. The employees are polite when I go there to drop off packages, and the man who seems to be the manager has helped me out in several issues I've had, with lost internal parcels or reclaiming money after receiving damaged packages.
I remember coming to this place several years ago and the people were just sad and angry. This is completely different. Not wotth their 2/5 rating”

“Shipping center located not too far away, but located on a road with TERRIBLE pavement (which is not their fault). Plenty of supplies to prepare your package for shipping. Package was delivered next day as promised.”
“Certified mail was sent to me at an address where I wasn't living anymore. Didn't have access to retrieve the pink slip to claim the mail. I contacted the post office troght their website. The postmaster Crystal contacted me, telling me to stop by with my ID and that the mail will be given to me. She was great and prompted my request, and I was able to get my mail without issues.”

Inefficient, not at all friendly nor responsive on a personal level. Too bad! I've been to post offices that are Great! This one is tiny and crabby -the entire atmosphere is Crabby & neighbors have said the same. Unpleasant, too bad!”

First, there are only 23 reviews. And honestly, who is writing a review of the post office when things go well, besides me?

That is not exactly a moment that inspires reflection.
Most of the existing reviews focus on rude staff or general postal despair, so I figured I would offer a counterpoint. We already pay too much for greeting cards, and then we pay too much to mail those greeting cards. All I needed were stamps. I did not want the Costco stamps this year. That felt like a choice that would haunt me later. So I made the trek to the only post office in the area that was open.
I walked in and was greeted. Was it warm. No. Was it hostile. Also no. It was appropriately gruff. It was late on a Saturday, right before Christmas, and frankly I would have wanted to be home too. I asked for stamps. He showed me what was left. I chose. He informed me that I had just purchased the last of the Christmas themed stamps. A small win, but still a win. Go me.
I paid. We exchanged the standard thank yous. I left with stamps. He went back to doing whatever important postal things he was doing. No confusion. No mistakes. Just the correct amount of New Jersey energy.
Will they lose your mail someday. Almost certainly.
Will they lose your mail every time. Probably not.
Will they successfully sell you stamps without incident. Based on this visit, yes.
And honestly, that feels like meeting expectations. Which, at the post office, is kind of the whole point.”
