Been going to JOHN for a long time now. He is HONEST and tells you what the car really needs. John and his whole CREW are RELIABLE. I've had oil changes, tire patch, Serpentine Belts, Brake Service, Inspection sticker, etc. Many of my Filipino friends go to John for their cars needs.

I had to change oil and filter in my 2021 Porsche Macan. I spoke with a few local auto mechanics, and they all told me they couldn't fix my car due to difficulties. The Porsche dealer can do that, of course, but they charge $600 just for oil change (They claim they inspect everything about the car, but I know it was unnecessary. ) When I called Central Auto, they assured me that they could change the oil in my Porsche Macan at a fraction of the price than what Porsche had quoted. I decided to trust them. I watched the technician change oil. He is young and knowledgeable. He changed oil and filter flawlessly. I drove my car off to street and I can tell immediately my Macan runs much smoothly due to oil change. The only issue was they don't have Porsche scanner, so the oil change light is still on. I will buy Porsche scanner from Amazon and reset and remove the oil light myself. It's super easy. After all, brand new mobile 1 oil is in my engine and I can feel the difference in the performance of the engine. I strongly recommend Central Auto to everyone who has high performance German car.

This guy is a crook. He does not say in advance he will charge for checking up. Once you do not repair with him because of his amount of quotation, he holds your car and charge you money for checking up. You won't get your car back till you pay. It is a gangster business.

Super fast punctual straight to the point, they don’t waste your time. They just do their job and you know charge the right amount for you. One thing you learn when you live in Jersey in New York area if there is a sword that last forever, that means they are good and good for people.

My family has been going to Central Auto Tech since I was a kid. My dad trusted this man with our lives and so do I. John is a great mechanic and will take care of you better than you’d expect.

John, the Central Auto owner is honest, professional and reasonably priced. He is a pleasure to deal with and I have been using him for over 10 years for all our cars.

Went this place for a flat tire, and I had to go back to this place again in about 4 hours later because I kept losing air pressure, fix again and charged me again. They never said sorry to me for the inconvenience of the mistake.

John was efficient and easy to talk to. I stopped by when all the dash lights were blinking at about 9:30am. By 2:30pm the car was fixed. He was reasonably priced and called me for approval before making any repairs. Very pleased with my experience at Central Auto Tech.

I would highly caution any and all current & future customers from using Central Auto Tech,Deceptive, over-priced and highly-negligent auto work on my recent vehicle caused a bunch of subsequent problems, including a highly-probably car accident.I originally sought their services to have my car battery replaced.Upon having another mechanic look at my vehicle, the battery was "hyper-charged" in order to mask & hide that it was nearly depleted. Also, without informing me, my alternator needed to be replaced as well.Given what I mentioned, my car completely stalled and system shut off in the middle of traffic right near the George Washington Bridge Ramp.I was charged $200 for a new car battery and installation. What I actually got was my old battery being passed off as a new battery.Because he hyper-charged my old battery, it ruptured and leaked battery acid. My new mechanic pointed these out to me.The work that Central Auto Tech did could have endangered myself and other passengers on the road. Even more so, he did not perform the work and intentionally deceived me.For the sake of others in the area needing auto mechanic, avoid Central Auto Tech at all costs!Services: Auto battery replacement

He said he fixed a liftgate lock on my suv without asking me and charged ridiculous amount for an old car. He should have asked me before starting to working on something he didn’t ask me while I was there.
