Jacob and crew remodeled our whole kitchen - cabinets, quartz countertops, backsplash, stove and range hood installation, and flooring. He did it all very quickly and at a reasonable price. He showed up every day at the time he said he would and was also very accommodating when we asked for changes or additions. Highly recommended!

Horrific experience with this company. To make a very long story short, we placed an order for a quartz top vanity. The vanity cabinets were delivered without a problem. According to Jacob, they had to be installed before the quartz top would be cut for the top. My contractors installed the cabinets, and on a Wednesday, Jacob came to measure. On Thursday his workers came with the quartz top and it was too small! When we asked how that was possible if Jacob measured the day prior, they told us that the stone had been cut FIVE DAYS EARLIER before Jacob ever came to measure. Brilliant! We gave Jacob a chance to do it over, but he essentially went on a search for some cheaper quartz to use instead. We refused.
When we asked for our money back, he also refused. If for some reason, you still decide to go with this putz, DO NOT PAY HIM A DIME UNTIL THE ENTIRE PROJECT IS COMPLETE AND SATISFACTORY.
Oh, additionally, within an hour of giving him a check, he lost it, and we incurred a $25 stop payment fee, which of course, he is also refusing to pay us back for.

I feel truly blessed to have chosen Kitchen and Stone of Leonia to do our kitchen remodel. With all the horror stories you hear about contractors, you hope for the work to just get done. I never would have imagined there was a way to get someone who actually cares about doing quality work, and will work with you to create what you want.
First, we spent nearly 2 months and almost 10 trips going to the store to try and make decisions on the tile, cabinet color/style, backsplash, etc. Every time we were there Rochelle was a wonderful help. Honestly if the roles were reversed I might have gotten annoyed with our indecision and constant checking, but she took it all in stride and was always helpful.
Once the decisions were made and it was time to install the kitchen, Jacob was here every day with one other person to get the work done. As it progressed and we pointed out things that needed to be touched up, or changed a little, Jacob was great about getting them done right away. Even as we dealt with two different curve balls, one of which changed the design agreed on, Jacob went with the flow. offered creative solutions and helped make sure we ended up with the kitchen of our dreams. It's absolutely beautiful, high quality work, professional and I cannot recommend them enough!

As a resident of Leonia, I thought it would be the prudent thing to do to hire a local firm to replace my granite countertops after new kitchen cabinetry had been installed.. a choice which I will regret for a very long time.
I hired these guys to simply install two countertops that were already cut/templated, and to seat the sink. They came and measured, and said yes we can do this -- no problem. We agreed on a price, and they said they would come back tomorrow and complete the work, which they did. I got home from work to inspect the job, and noticed a few disturbing things.
1. The sink was seated off center, so much so that it was obvious to anyone that it was done wrong. It was shifted 3" left from where it should be.
2. The sink was not secured to *anything*, they simply apoxy'd it to the bottom of the countertop and propped it up from below with a 2x4. If I had not noticed this, and filled the sink of with dishes/water, it would have literally dropped right out the bottom.
3. There was a new crack in the template near the sink, which had been very shoddily repaired with some kind of black substance that was oozing out of the seam, and looked VERY unattractive.
4. The general workman ship was of such a low quality, I was stunned. The seams were oozing with extra apoxy and "filler", and they had gotten apoxy all over my brand new cabinetry and not even attempted to clean it up.
Long story short, I had to have another company come in and literally do EVERYTHING all over again, and when I asked for my money back from this place -- they said.. "we will give you $100". I wanted them out of my life so badly, I didn't even bother to collect.
I strongly advise AGAINST doing business with these guys, in any way, shape, or form.
