Chelsea, the owner, is great. Her staff is some of the best groomers you can find. I highly recommend them. Professional, knowledgeable and compassionate.

Today was my puppy's first grooming session and I am extremely satisfied with the grooming services ? My Emilia looks beautiful? The staff was patient and kind. They listened and asked questions about what I wanted for my lovely girl. Pooch Parlor in Leonia, NJ - you have made a customer for life! Thanks so much! ?

After ignoring the reviews that are within the past year or two, I still gave Pooch Parlor a try. At first, they were organized, made appointments via phone with confirmation texts & once my dog was ready they would always send a text or call 15 min prior for pick up. The form filled out in the beginning provides what not to do on your pet & it was ignored. Time passed & it became a zoo. They clearly were overbooked & overwhelmed. Dogs all over yet they claim they put them all in the back. My daughter was cut in multiple areas around her private parts leaving her irritated and in pain for days. These photos and texts are all on their business phone and mine and time stamped. The owner insisted on applying Neosporin also provided a credit for the mistake her staff caused. Mistakes happen and I forgave them and moved on. I still brought my fur baby who is only 11 lbs, back. This incident occurred from just a wash. The receptionist went to the back to bring her to me, and her right eye was bleeding. Of course my heart dropped and I started crying. I had to wait for about 10 minutes for The owner to come out while others were being checked in/out. Out of respect for the business, I remained patient and quiet. I hear the owner tell a customer they had to remove her dog because it wasn’t as friendly but the haircut went well. I jumped and asked is that what happened to Chloe? She said no. Ok now she takes a look at my dogs eye and it’s clearly a deep cut within the lining of her eye. I confirmed with the owner that the bath includes cutting around the eyes and that was denied at the time of the incident. She offered to give me back my money and I just wanted her to take accountability instead she asks if I walked her into the tree? I didn’t even leave the business for anything to have happened. Frustrated, I leave and call to vent so I don’t express my disappointment in front of anyone & both the owner, $36 for a wash leaving a cut eye is NOT enough. Regardless, we apologized to one another and she event sent a text as well that she hopes we could move forward. The vet confirmed it was a cut not a scratch, owner still insisting it could be from her being in the cage which I was never told they would put her in one . STILL forgiving & trying to give her another chance which really was silly on my end, I bring her back for another wash & the owner never came out she just stayed away & I never made a fuss about it she mentioned her own dog battling so I was praying for her and even text her that as well. I just made an appointment which was scheduled for this morning, the owner sent me a text after the business was closed already, saying she tried but she feels she’s walking on eggshells with me and will no longer service my dog and cancels the appointment. The only one on eggshells was me for all the pain and mistakes made by her and her staff members. No accountability & no regard. If you ignore reviews that have many complaining about these type of issues, & you give many chances like myself, this is what happens. She speaks in a low tone but she’s honestly very unprofessional when they make mistakes & will always point the finger at you, always grab her bottle or Neosporin & try and attempt to make you the issue instead. I wish them the best, but I do not recommend anymore and those that I did will no longer go either.

Today was my first time visiting Pooch Parlor and I was so pleasantly surprised that I almost don’t want to leave a review so others find out about them LOL. I took my mini Bernedoodle here for a bath after not being able to find an available last minute appointment at my usual spots. Though, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the “usual” because Pooch Parlor was amazing! They charge reasonable rates and have very talented groomers that you can easily see their work as soon as you walk in. Brooke at the front of the store was so nice, patient and helpful getting our pup settled in and comfortable. Again, this was only for a bath today, but after the high quality result and from what I could see with other doodles getting cut, I can’t wait to take him back and my other doodle for a full grooming experience. If you have a doodle this is the place to take them if you’re looking for that nice fluffy teddy bear shaped haircut. Highly recommend :)

I don’t normally write reviews so let’s just say me taking my time to do this means a lot! Really love this place!! Very clean, friendly! My dog normally gets anxiety in other places but she was anxiety free here. They gave me an appt right away! My dogs coat is soft and looks healthy. I found my new place! Already recommended to 3 friends.
