TMH has been an incredibly supportive, nurturing and educational environment for our two kids. The teachers have been patient and caring and the administration is very organized and communicative. We love supporting a family-run business that treats our children as if they are part of the family.

I didn't want to leave a comment until enough time has passed so that I can leave a credible comment that will help other parents in choosing a daycar. My daughter was 16 months old when she started, today she is almost three years old and we are still here. The owners and staff are wonderful, and the communication with parents is amazing. I am informed about everything that is important regarding my child. I am satisfied with the daycare plan and program, the children gain new knowledge and experiences, but again, there is plenty of space left for play, etc., which is the point of daycare. I monitor my child's progress every day and I am very proud of how he is developing mentally. It is not a modern space, but it is clean, safe, provided with everything a child should have at that age, and what is most important for me, my child is surrounded by people who really take care of her!!!

Looking for great daycare..look no more!!While the other big name daycare centers offer the advanced technology, cameras and fancy rooms, Take My Hand offers superior care and instruction. Our son had been in the program from the age of 2 1/2 months old. He had different teachers over the years, all who were kind, caring and responsive to his individual needs. We were also there during the time of the pandemic where they managed a very brief closure, as well as outlined detailed strategies to maintain everyone’s safety and good health. Not only did they re-open just four short months after Covid hit, their preparation and strategies allowed us to remain in daycare ever since with only a couple of days worth of hiccups.Take My Hand daycare is a small close knit group that truly takes care of each individual child as if they were their own.Our little guy is the smart, social, interactive child he is because of their care.

I love this place. My child’s development (almost 3 y/o) has sprouted since he started with TMH. Personality, manners, communication plus more, have all been impacted in such a powerful way. I recommend this place to any parent in search of a great day school for their child. Keep up the great work guys ????

Take My Hand is a second home to our daughters. The staff and owners are incredible and truly care about the well-being of all children. Throughout this incredibly difficult year, they have gone above and beyond to create a safe place for our children to grow and learn. This past Thanksgiving, our daughter said she was thankful for being able to go to Take My Hand for another year. To me, that is a true testament to their welcoming and warm environment. My children are even asking to go to their summer camp as their birthday presents! If you are looking for a place that will care for your children, help them learn, grow, and mature, then Take My Hand is the place for you!

My daughter attended TMH starting from 3 months until 5 years old when we moved too far away to keep sending her here. As a first-time parent shopping for daycare while still pregnant because I had to return to work, stress and guilt was at the highest level. I had visited approximately 5-6 other area daycares, but TMH felt right immediately. The director was warm and patient, explaining her philosophy toward childcare - learning by having fun. The baby room staff was meticulous about caring for my child, always responsive to my questions and concerns. As she grew, I felt that the daycare truly kept stimulating her love for learning with fun activities and age appropriate lessons. I thought the staff was great, especially Ms. Dorothy, Ms. Ruth and Ms. Joann. Highly recommended.

Both of my daughters attended Take my Hand 30 years ago!!!!! It was awesome back then and if its still under Carol Levy's watchful eye, its even more amazing today. Both my daughters don't live in NJ otherwise, their children would be attending also.Great leadership and educational program

My daughter have been going to Take my hands since she was 1 until we had to move 3 years later. I would have to say that the experience was very positive: my daughter went to school happy and went home even happier with so many drawings and art projects and unfortable memories. We appreciate the efforts of all the teachers as well as directors to keep the learning environment fun and memorable for my daughter. And the price is not high either, best bang for the bucks for us. We miss Take My Hands and sincerely thank you for doing a great job taking care of my daughter. Amelie misses her friends and the teachers.

Take My Hand is like a second home for us and our son who graduated the PreK4 program. The care and passion from the staff members reasonates in more ways than one. Ms. Jessica is a wonderful teacher who works individually with each child and utilizes the appropriate means to ensure that the child learns at their own pace. Our son’s teacher in Kindergarten is amazed at how much our son already knows and that’s all thanks to the exposure he got at Take My Hand.

Both my daughters were enrolled at Take My Hand with the oldest one graduating Pre-K 4 last year. My oldest had been at Take My Hand since she was 2 and a half. My youngest was only 3 months old when she first started here. Take my hand has been a great experience for both of my daughters. They have been like a second family. You can tell that the teachers and staff love what they do. Thank you!!

I would recommend anyone to bring their children to Take My Hand. They are the best! Sorry for the long review - but I couldn't be more thankful for Take My Hand and hope this helps you find the best day care for your little one(s).I brought my 4 year old, 2 year old and infant to Take My Hand and could not have been happier with the experience. The owner(s) have most processes nailed down so they are easy to work with and very accommodating of our hectic family. My son attended a local Montessori school when he was three - and he did not enjoy it. He seemed sad, frustrated and it didn't seem from my perspective that the kids were having fun. Several parents would take the children to the park after school because the kids were so wired and wanted to play. It could not have been a better balance at Take My Hand - the kids played and learned in a blended experience the entire day. They had chicks hatching, caterpillars morphing into butterflies, art projects and the children were allowed to play openly with each other. My 2 year old daughter attended Take My Hand as her first day care experience - Carol understood the need for an easy transition for her and our family... she attended the first day for a couple hours, and then added an hour each day so that she would adjust. After the first week we were running at full time and we never had a huge separation meltdown. My infant attended Take My Hand from the time he was 8 weeks, and again the care and attention to my youngest son and to my family was amazing. We were all embraces and supported as clients of the day care and beyond. I didn't hesitate to raise concerns and worked with Carol to ensure a happy experience for the children. Finally - the staff at Take My Hands is AMAZING! Many teachers have been there for a long time and are committed to the children they care for. The newer teachers are learning from a great environment and are completely bought into the process. Regretfully, we've moved from the area and while many aspects of our life have changes - we've adjusted to those changes. The one thing we have not been able to replace is a day care like Take My Hand. It's hard to describe in words, but it doesn't feel the same and our entire family misses Take My Hand.

Wonderful! Professional, great hours, great facility. Entirely reasonable pricing. I can't say enough. My daughter went from age one to four and never wanted to leave when I came to pick her up each day. Music, yoga, bikes, outdoor play as much as possible, etc. Family run so always someone on site to speak to who cares.

Had a very bad experience during enrollment. Their demeanor will change depending on time of year or how full their capacity is. When they're full they'll tell you your child isn't ready, they won't fit in, etc... completely insulted as a parent. All was needed was sorry we're full and will call when a opening comes up. Seemed more like a pure for profit business than a daycare. Good thing we looked elsewhere in town which worked great for my kids.
