Firehouse Tango is a wonderful tango milonga in Bergen County, NJ. The milonga is preceded by a 1.5-hour tango class taught by world renowned tango dancers and outstanding teachers, Analia Carreño and Luis Ramirez. As far as I know, no other milonga in the New York metropolitan area offers a full 1.5-hour pre-milonga class. The welcoming hostess, Terri Lopez, will make you feel at home and offer you water, wine and snacks. Every week there is a different DJ playing wonderful selections of tango music. During the COVID period Terri installed several powerful air purifiers to protect the dancers against the infection. The overall atmosphere is warm and relaxed and the people are very friendly. All of this is offered at a reasonable price. I have been attending Firehouse Tango for several years. I have enjoyed it tremendously and met many wonderful people. I recommend it highly.

The best place to dance tango. Great ambiance, everyone very friendly and amenable to help a beginner. Terry is a faboulous hostess. The dinner was fresh and tasty. The DJ played amazing songs. There is also lessons the first hour. Loved it.
