I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Polish & Slavic that compelled me to share my thoughts on the matter. The encounter left me feeling frustrated and disrespected, and I believe it's essential to bring attention to such instances of poor customer service.Upon entering the bank this afternoon to complete a quick deposit on behalf of my father, the employee, BOZENA KOWALCZYK, made the entire transaction feel like I was wasting her time. I was unsure of some information regarding the deposit as it was my first time there and I wasn't sure what information I needed. Granted, I should have had some of the information prepared but I quickly called my dad to double check this information. The entire time she was rolling her eyes and quite literally huffing and puffing when there was no one even behind me in line. Once I gave her the account number she asked me a few more questions which I didn't have the answer to such as how much money was being deposited after she had just counted it.Every. Single. Question. That I didn't have the answer to she responded by saying "you don't know anything do you?". She reworded that sentence no less than 8 times. I very obviously fake laughed as it was a lousy excuse of a joke used to cover up an obvious insult to my intellect.I was taken aback by her unprofessional responses. In my years of banking, I have never encountered such blatant apathy from a bank employee. She then condescendingly asked me if I even knew my name. Like are you kidding me? I told her my name and asked for hers in return. She pointed to her business card and I took it. She then immediately started explaining why she asked for my name, to try to cover up her blatant rudeness.I found this experience to be not only frustrating but also extremely disappointing. Banks should be institutions that prioritize customer service, professionalism, and a willingness to assist their clients.I would like to believe that my experience was an isolated incident, but it is my hope that this review serves as a reminder to all businesses, including banks, of the importance of training their staff to treat customers with respect and dignity. No one should ever be made to feel as if they are less than, especially in an establishment that relies on trust and customer satisfaction.I would strongly advise the bank to reevaluate its employee training and customer service standards to prevent future encounters like the one I experienced. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, and I sincerely hope that this review prompts positive changes within the institution.

I am a member for years, I like their service, altitude, have been treated fairly, (opening was not easy) if you are Polish/Slavic it's a great place, although I am of Slavic decent, which I had to document when I opened the account, I do get a odd look when I walked in the branch, I assume because I don't look it, I hope with time they will get used to me,

Fast and easy service. ATM is open 24hrs. Much bigger location compared to union so the lines are quick and the the service is faster.
