Bakery department staff is very rude to customers. Ordered a cake, paid online and they made a big deal that they had to go to customer service to prove payment despite the fact that I had the receipt on my phone. Why wouldn't they have the payment information? Also, very rude to an elderly gentleman requesting to have something written on a cake which really prompted me to write this review.

Outdated items are apparently on their shelves. I did shop from home. This is a fail for the shopper and the store. Unacceptable

Woman in fried chicken department next to deli department she's very miserable there. I was trying to get cold cuts out of the refrigerator. I did two orders. I couldn't get one order cause she was giving me the stare cause I wasn't moving out of the way she could've said excuse me, but rather, she stood there, and gave me a nasty look with the Puss on her face, she should really work on her people skills

This review is more for the cashier, Angel! When I was placing my items on the belt he was organizing them so all the heavy non perishable were first, then heavy perishable, then the rest of the perishable and no. Perishable. He bagged everything. Appropriately for me. I was amazed! I have never had a cashier or bagger do this! Usually I come home to find yogurt with pasta and after loading everything in the cart then have bottles of soda on top! Not with Angel! All my heavy bottles of soda were on the bottom of my cart and then went from there up with lighter things! Superior! He was very friendly as well. He looked very young and to have this much common sense, he will go far! It was great to see!

One of my favorite ShopRites. Recently, I overdrafted and didn't realize so I could only use my EBT card. My family was dealt with which such grace during a time frame that repeatedly tested me as well as my son. So from the bottom of our hungry hearts, thank you .

Just picked up a Thanksgiving meal at this location. Couldn't believe no one preparing or handling the food was wearing a mask or gloves! Only one person handling the register wore one.

There shop from home is a nightmare. Inventory on app is never accurate. They used to call with substitutions now depending on the shopper they may or may not text. Usually they don't. They substitute with something completely from left field and usually triple the quantity and price, which I heard they are told to do to boost up sales. If the shopper doesn't feel like looking for something they just don't bother. I used to be faithful to Shop Rite because I prefer to give to the private businesses in my community but now I just give Shop Rite the left over items that I can't get from Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods. After months and months of this with my last order I called very upset to complain and she couldn't care less challenging me and patronizing me. Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods are amazing to deal with. No service or delivery fee if your order is over $39.00. Rarely is there a problem and when there is it's rectified properly. Their produce is top quality and the shoppers don't give you anything rotten like Shop Rite. They need to step up their game especially with customer service otherwise people are just going to go elsewhere. Like I did and many I know before me. It's to bad that the woman I spoke to today actually thought she won the battle but clearly lost because I will never order here again.

Surprised this establishment doesn't have ratings. Common experiences = indifferent edging towards rude service, and poor quality of in house dispensed products. Sliced cheese is shingled so tightly tater than separated that it crumbles upon use. Deep slicing into cold cut ends. Today was salmon fillet's that were unscaled (which should happen before filleting). Took me 20 minutes to fillet 3 portion with a few cuts, and 30 minutes to clean up. Were we not 20 minutes away with guest, I would have returned, but had little choice and now-no recourse. My advice. Passaic and Lodi are much better experiences.

Pharmacy shouldn’t work with children. They are very rude and don’t know how to. Pharmacist shouldn’t walk out and refuse to give a vaccine because child is crying. Definitely will not be going back and will let family and friends about horrible experience

Bought a Carvel ice cream cake from this Shop-Rite. Asked the girl at the bakery counter to write on it "Congratulations J.J. I was not pleased with the way she wrote Congratulations. Would not have accepted this, but it was the last one in that size. I was totally embarassed when I brought out the cake. Congratulations was not legible. I wrote an email to the store, but have heard nothing. It was totally unacceptable!!!!

For a good, all-around supermarket, the Little falls, NJ ShopRite has a lot to offer. It's undergone a terrific expansion/renovation in recent years and has an attractively fresh, clean, modern feel. There's been a ShopRite store in the same location, run by the same family--the Infusinos--since the 1950s; but the store has been significantly improved in recent years by its expansion/renovation. You can find just about anything here. It's a big store but still has a surprisingly homey feel. You're greeted when you come in. The checkout workers, for the most part, are efficient and friendly. And I really love that there are rarely any lines when you checkout. That I can check out so quickly and easily is a major part of the store's appeal for me. (There are sometimes, oddly, long lines in the deli section, but not at the main checkout. The store is well-staffed.) If you shop carefully, there are always some good bargains to be found in the store. (Not everything is a bargain, of course; it's a big store and prices vary. I'll buy some things here, other things elsewhere. But if you shop wisely--paying attention to the sales, using your ShopRite card--you'll do fine.) ShopRite is a well-known name. In the greater New York metropolitan area, there are more ShopRite stores than any other brand of supermarkets. But they are not all the same; different ShopRite stores have different owners, different looks and feels. Some New Jersey ShopRites have a cramped, cluttered, bargain-basement kind of feel. But almost everything about this store is appealing, and it's my favorite ShopRite of all the ones around. The bake shop is huge, and they can custom-make any kind of cake you want. The produce is fresh. The pharmacy offers free delivery, if you need that. I usually like doing my own cooking, but sometimes--if I'm pressed for time or am tired--I'll pick up a decent, reasonably price hot dinner from ShopRite. The other night I brought home a hot, whole roast chicken for just $4.99. (Can't beat that!) Occasionally I'll buy satisfying spare ribs or other hot meals. I've also been very impressed by the way the store has responded to the Covid-19 crisis. As an older shopper, I welcomed the early-morning shopping hours they offered. They were also the first store in the area to put up plastic barriers to protect cashiers. I gave them a lot of credit for that. Oddly, they haven't yet figured out a way to protect the baggers, just the cashiers. (If this were a movie, I'd imagine some boss saying, "We can't afford to lose a star cashier like Victor. Put up a plastic barrier for protection, whatever the cost." An underling says: "But what about that top bag-boy Isaiah? Doesn't he too deserve some kind of protection from customers sneezing on him?" "Plastic is expensive! The bag boys know what they signed up for.") But some protection is better than none. And this store put up the sneeze-guard plastic barriers before any of the other markets I go to. I liked the store's responsiveness; they're thinking about public health. This ShopRite also offers vaccinations (Flu shots, Covid-19 vaccinations, etc.). They're on the ball. They're not perfect--no store is. I've taken one point off of their rating because the cramped parking lot has always been problematic and is subject to traffic jams. But for me, the store's many good points count for more than an imperfect parking lot. Occasionally, you'll get a cashier who is more interested in his cell-phone than in doing his job. But by and large, it's an excellent store. I've been a happy customer for many years. Even the deer, where I live, like the food I bring 'em from ShopRite.

As a former #1 ranked excellent customer service employee in New Jersey management treats you like a nobody and makes you get publicly humiliated in front of 100s of customers and your own boss is in front of you letting it happen and treated like a piece of s*** I hope no one eats in the bakery anything with icing! It's disgusting
