This store used to be great, but it has gone completely downhill. The quality has dropped, and the staff have become unbearable.
The parking situation is a nightmare and always has been, but I was willing to put up with it in the past. Now the employees themselves are the real problem, rude, hostile, and downright disrespectful.
Today I tried using the self-checkout. Yes, I had a few more items than the “limit,” but the entire area was completely empty. No one was waiting, no one was inconvenienced. Instead of using basic common sense, the manager, a short blonde woman, stormed over and snapped at me like I was a child. Then a heavyset guy with a mustache piled on, barking orders in the same condescending tone.
I suggested my wife and I split the items into two separate transactions, completely reasonable in my opinion. They sneered and flat-out refused. Two paying customers, willing to follow the rules, but still treated like criminals.
To make it worse, the heavyset man kept locking our machine from his terminal, intentionally disrupting us even though we were doing exactly what they demanded. That’s not enforcing policy, that’s harassment.
Employees like these drive businesses into the ground. I’ve been shopping here for years, but I’m done. Trader Joe’s not only treats customers with respect, and their meat and produce are better anyway. ShopRite has officially lost a loyal customer, and judging by how these employees behave, I won’t be the last.
This whole experience is a perfect example of what happens when employees with a shred of authority let it go to their heads, they’d rather bully paying customers than use common sense.

Favorite place to food shop. Pick up service and Shop from home makes it even better when you’re a busy mom.

Great place for your weekly grocery shopping trip. It's got everything you need. For all the people complaining about the parking, it's because they want to park right in front. There is plenty of parking you just may have to walk a little further. Just avoid the part of the lot near the very front of the store.

This ShopRite everything is good here the hot foods a little expensive but worth it sometimes, but let me tell you I don’t know what grower that they get their watermelons from but their watermelons are terrible, not sweet hard crunchy flesh, I bought 2 watermelons from there at different times and the watermelons where terrible, one was so bad that I returned it, enough was enough, now I don’t purchase watermelons from this particular ShopRite…🤦🏾♂️

The BEST All-Around Supermarket in the Area. Having put Pathmark, A&P, Wholefoods, and Fairway Stores out of business, this is a local gem. Privately owned, their combination of low prices, a wide selection, and high-quality food always impress. The only negative is the crowded madhouse you’ll find during most of the time.

My favorite is Shop Rite...they have the most variety here. It's not like Shop Rite in Lodi. The employees on the baby
formula shelves are kind and friendly. Thank you.

I have been shopping here as have my extended family for over 20 years
I forgot a bag of chips costing 2.99 a couple of weeks ago at the self check out I went back an hour or so after I realized it was missing plus I needed additional items
Anyway I asked customer service if the chips had been put aside
They didn't know however the Mgr came over and said he would have to review the video footage
A very petty way to handle this kind of issue
Clearly they don't value customers

Great quality food and excellent prices, one thing I regret is not going to this Shoprite before I ever shopped at the one in Passaic which was an awful experience from their cardboard dry roitteseri chicken, to the cold cuts called the ends of each loaf which is cheaper but what they give you is not fit for human nor animal consumption, now the Shoprite in Little Falls their ends are absolutely without a doubt the best I've ever had and best quality.
08/07/24- I have to change my review regarding the Deli, it looks like they changed the person in charge and brought the one from Passaic, no longer they have those ends that are NOT FREE u just get them at a discount. They are no longer good for human consumption and some not even for animal consumption. Will no longer shop the Deli and changed from 5 to 3 stars.

I went to Shoprite in Little Falls at noon on July 13, 2024. I went to the store to purchase two cakes. It was my first time buying from this place so I wasn't too familiar with where the bakery was located. When I first walked in I asked the person closest to me by the vegetables/ fruits area to direct me to the bakery department. On my way to the register, I considered purchasing other things. I grabbed 7 cans of Enfamil formula, 1 case of 7oz Modelitos, and two 12 packs of 12oz Modelos. I decided to do a self-checkout because I didn't have too many items. I went to register 76 where Scot approached me to tell me I needed to check out the beers separately. I consented and said it was fine. I kept scanning the items from my cart and Scot approached me again making me uncomfortable and told me to separate my items into the bagging area. Like I said before I only had a few items there was no need for that. I got very upset and asked Scot if he preferred me to go with one of the cashiers since he had so many concerns that I was doing it myself. The self-checkout area was busy and full of customers. Scot decided to pick on me because I am Hispanic. In continuation, Scot asked his partner Megan to ring up the liquor he had asked me to do separately. Megan failed to scan each product charging me for the highest item 3 times. Megan charged me for the case of Modelitos at 22.99 3 times a total of 73.54. When I only had one 7oz case (22.99) and two 12oz 12packs(12.99 ea) +26$ that should've been a total of 48.97. Congratulations Shoprite Megan just made you an extra 24.57 profit You see it at the end of your count S205 R30 T9. Now, I could've gone back and claimed the mistake but because I was already targeted and traumatized I was afraid of going back and disputing this mistake. It is truly shameful that we still live in a world where in the 21st century we are still victims of racial discrimination and profiling/stereotyping. I am an educated professional individual with a degree in public health. I dedicate myself to working as a supervisor in education in the healthcare industry teaching surgical instrumentations. I would never thought of stealing. Prejudging by looks is awful and inhuman. I felt small, ashamed, and mentally traumatized. Scots response to me was that he wasn't trying to give me a hard time and that he was just doing what “they” tell him. As a professional myself patient care like customer service is the number one priority. Which Scot failed to deliver. I can not say I would recommend anyone to shop at this store since the experience has scared me forever.

Great after the remodel, has a farmers section, deli and non dairy products all organized. Staff is helpful but it's a very busy store. Most customers walk and park like they're completely alone. If cops did parking tickets you'll have the entire month's quota in one day.
