About Yogi Berra Stadium
Yogi Berra Stadium is a beautiful and historic baseball venue located on the campus of Montclair State University in Little Falls, New Jersey. Named after the legendary NY Yankee, Yogi Berra, the stadium serves as the home for Montclair State University's baseball team and will host NJIT's team starting in 2024. Opened in 1998, the stadium is built partly into the side of a mountain, offering great sight lines for fans. Recently, during the winter of 2023-24, the stadium underwent a multi-million dollar renovation that included replacing the grass with new field turf and updating the outfield fence. While the seating remains old and faded, the stadium is kept clean, and parking is ample, though sometimes limited and a walk away. Inside, visitors should be cautious of foul balls ricocheting and dress warmly, especially for evening games. The venue offers a laid-back environment with plenty of activities for children, making it a great place for family outings. Visitors enjoy the reasonable prices, good food at concession stands, and the opportunity to purchase memorabilia. The stadium also hosts birthday parties, with kids enjoying appearances by characters like Star Wars figures.
