Great Customer service, I saw a man trying to scam the agent. The man said my friend already paid and I’m here to pick up the vehicle. The agent replied no sir, tell your friend to come and pick up the vehicle if he paid!! lol me I had a great experience and got a new car!!

Warning! I love Avis, but this location is a franchise and gave me the worst rental experience I've ever had. I typically rent from Avis about once a month.
Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews for this location before hand, which was my mistake.
I highly recommend going to the Fort Lee, NJ Avis location instead, they're amazing, or using another rental company in the area.
This building looks like it's falling apart and is in a very concerning area. The agent was out on an extended lunch break, and we had to wait over an hour just to return the car. I tried calling this location about a dozen times throughout the rental period, and no one ever answered or returned my messages.
Customer service here is non-existent. Good luck and safe travels!

I do not understand the negativity of most of these reviews. I rented a Kia Forte for a few days and the process of procuring it was very quick and smooth (e.g., in and out within 20 minutes). The actual price of the rental was consistent with the one I had seen when I reserved online. The person behind the counter was knowledgeable, helpful, answered all questions, and provided all the relevant directions and details. The car itself was clean, spotless, and the performance ran really well. The car interior looked and smelled brand new. In all honesty, I was fully satisfied with the rental by the time I returned the car.
Supplying the insurance information and the e-filming of the car before releasing it to the customer should not come by surprise. I don’t know why this is seen as a problem for some of the other reviewers. You are renting a car, not buying one. If anything, the insurance information should be on hand when you‘re going in—it’s pretty obvious.

I wish I had read the reviews before visiting this place. I rent cars often, and this was my first time renting from this location. Had I read the reviews beforehand, I would have known what to expect.
The customer service was on the bad side. I've never had issues using my Chase card for auto rental protection before, but this location was an exception. Despite renting from Avis three times this year without any problems, this location insisted I fill out a form with my insurance information. It was a hassle having to call my insurance company to confirm coverage. The staff member was rude and impatient, repeatedly asking if I was done in a condescending manner. When I mentioned that this was the first time Avis had required this, he arrogantly said that the owner of this location could do as he pleased since it's a franchise.
The cost was nearly a thousand for a week-long SUV rental, which I wouldn’t mind paying if I were treated well.
Anyway, the staff filmed the car before giving me the keys and made me e-sign the video. When I returned the car, the same rude employee took the keys and walked away without a word. After waiting for several minutes, he returned, handed me a piece of paper, and said very little.
The facility was dirty and outdated, making it a place I wouldn't want to visit after dark. If you have no other options, I guess you could rent from here, but if you can, avoid it.
On the positive side, the SUV itself was great with no issues, which is the least I expected for the price.

I rented a car at this location on September 11th when I received the car the percentage of the charging on the car was at 76, I had the car for two days I brought the car back on the 13th with a 84 percentage charge I got a bill from them which stated that my total for the two day of renting this car which was a Tesla was $149.51, I check my credit card two days after and realized that Avis charged more on my credit card from what they put on the receipt they gave me when I return the car renting a car from this place is definitely a scam.

I had a booking with x price and when I went there they made the contract with price 3x compared to the original price. Worst avis I have ever been, do not go there there are many avis near by which are good. It cost me more for an Uber ride just to go there and come back to home without a car.Update:Rebooked the car at another avis location and got the car on the quoted price. What a worst way to start my Saturday morning.
