Livingston Mall is a shopping center located off Eisenhower Parkway in Livingston, serving Essex and Morris Counties. It is easy to get to from several major routes. The mall offers over 100 stores, including Barnes & Noble, Macy's, LOFT Outlet, and various eateries. It is described as a fun, family-friendly experience with an indoor play area and events. Currently, the mall is very calm and not very crowded, providing a pleasant and quiet atmosphere for browsing. It is seen as an excellent place to spend time and is noted as being very clean. However, many reviews indicate it is going through a significant change. A large number of stores are closed, leaving only a handful open, such as Macy's, some food court options, Foot Locker, and a few others. The directory and website are outdated. The parking lot is often empty, and there is a noticeable lack of maintenance, with reports of very hot conditions inside, no air conditioning, and bathrooms not in order. The overall feeling is eerie and empty, with the mall at the brink of being abandoned. It remains a point of interest for dead mall enthusiasts, but its future is uncertain.
Nice place, when you can't make it to the Short Hills Mall.

Sad to see the mall in this condition, Looking forward to a redevelopment that will hopefully take place at some point. Shopping online has really took a toll on a lot of these indoor shopping malls. Hopefully a bright future is ahead for this location.

At the brink of being abandoned, stores are having final closing sales, no more maintenance on the road pavement or landscaping. Eerie and empty yet the scratched handrails highlight the immense foot traffic over the past 4 decades. It might be sold, repurposed, or even demolished soon. Who knows?
