Today I needed help locating previous bank statements on my TD app to see if I’d received a deposit I should’ve gotten between March-October of ‘23. I first went to the desk and asked the woman if she could look back or help me look back in my TD account beyond November ‘23. That’s as far back as I could see on the account homepage. She said only a banker at a desk would have access back that far. So, I sat down with a woman and told her I’d won at a casino out-of-state in November of ‘22 (in retrospect, this info only confused her so I should’ve avoided it) and filed my taxes in late February of ‘23. I said the deposits from my winnings from that state should’ve displayed on a statement sometime AFTER February ‘23 when I filed my taxes, but I’d only seen the deposit from NJ. She began printing statements from September ‘22 until December ‘22. That was the incorrect time frame so I again explained what I was looking for. She came back with printed statements from January ‘23 to March ‘23. She was also giggling to herself every time she came back with the wrong statements like I’m the fool and scoffing when I said all these printouts were completely unhelpful. I told her plain and simple that I need my statements from March ‘23 through October ‘23 because that is the period in which the statement might reflect the deposit I’m looking for. IT WAS ONLY THEN that she showed me how to access statements as far back as ‘18 in my TD app, answering the original question I came in with. I had been told I had to sit with her to access that info, then she played games for 15 minutes before showing me that I CAN look back at older statements. I was beyond words at this point so I got back in my car and found the deposit myself.

My encounter with this branch left me with a deep sense of disappointment and frustration on multiple levels.Firstly, the service at this branch is excruciatingly slow. I found myself waiting for an exaggerated amount of time just to get basic assistance. It's baffling how inefficient their operations are, and it made me question the overall competence of the staff.Secondly, the incompetence extends to their record-keeping system. Not only did they fail to locate my record of payment, but they also managed to apply it to the wrong account. This level of negligence is unacceptable, especially when dealing with people's hard-earned money. It reflects a lack of attention to detail and a disregard for customer satisfaction.Adding to the frustration, I attempted to escalate the issue through the contact center, but my efforts were in vain. Two weeks of waiting for a response, and not a single acknowledgment or resolution. It's disheartening that a supposedly reputable bank like TD cannot manage their customer service inquiries efficiently. To make matters worse, when I approached someone at the branch regarding the escalation, I received conflicting information. One person claimed they received the request but never bothered to look into it, while another asked who processed the request. The lack of communication and coordination within the branch is shocking and further amplifies the incompetence displayed throughout this entire ordeal. In conclusion, my experience with this TD Bank branch has been nothing short of a nightmare. The combination of snail-paced service, careless record-keeping, and an inability to address customer concerns leaves me with no choice but to give this branch a one-star rating. I strongly caution anyone considering banking with TD to think twice and perhaps explore other options with more reliable and customer-focused institutions.

The service is terrible. They do not have enough staff to handle the customers. On several occasions I had to leave the bank after waiting nearly 20 minutes to access my safe deposit box. On one visit, after accessing my safe deposit box I stood waiting, box in hand, to replace it in the vault, nearly 10 minutes with at least 4 customers waiting to be helped. If one is lucky enough to get to the cashiers in a timely manner, the cashiers are usually very helpful. Before I moved to this area, I used the TD bank in Bernardsville. It was wonderful!! I actually enjoyed going in to that branch. People were friendly and the line moved quickly. When needed, the manager jumped in quickly.

What a nightmare! My mom’s debit card was locked, as it was deemed as “suspicious” for purchasing items online. She has been without a debit card nw for a few days. She has been with this bank for a few years now. She went over there, and the manager has done nothing to help. The manager told her she has to call the 1800 number in order for them to assist in unfreezing her debit card and said I should help assist if she needs help , which she was then told to go back to the branch as the branch can do more. The branch even asked her why didn’t she call with you to fix the issue? They apologized for how badly she is being treated. My mom went back there with all her required documents, but the manager is refusing to help her and they are now holding her money. She has a government issued ID as well as as a SS. Her passport recently expired but she has all other documents to prove it’s her account! She even just put a down payment on the apartment, as she was able to be assisted just fine then. Finally got resolved but it’s absolutely ridiculous that they did nothing to help her out in the first place/ we had to jump through a lot of hoops, and at this point she is now going to switch banks. Never again as this has been an issue from the bank teller to the phone service.

Last year I opened a checking account and was told if I deposited a $2500, there will be $300 bonus. 7-month later, I was told I didn't qualify because the deposit was not a direct deposit. Very disappointed with TD's misleading marketing trick.

The bank opens whenever the staff feels like it. They’re hours are never accurate and it really depends who’s there working that day on how they wish to open.

AVOID THIS PLACE! Please believe me when I say that you'll waste so much of your precious time because you'll eventually want to switch banks but the additional time and effort will make you wait for months or years, just prolonging the pain. I was an account holder when this was Commerce Bank and it was great back then. But, when TD bank took it over, the bank manager just totally ruined this place. I gave it so many chances because of its convenient location but so many annoying issues over and over again. What do you think should happen when you deposit a check but the teller accidentally deposits it into the wrong account? Well, after repeated calls to get it reversed, nothing gets done. And, then, they demand that you come in person and resolve the issue. Then, finding out, you're charged fees for it and then you having to go through hurdles to get them removed. You would think the manager would apologize but the entire time, she made it seem like it's your fault! After a while, you finally realize that all their problems probably stem from their main manager. She must hire the most incompetent and uncaring people. Some are really nice but you find out that half of them are only nice on the outside. If anything takes a little bit effort, you see their true side. Finally, they are always trying to nickel-and-dime you. It really irks me due to the principle of it.
