I go here often. Not much to say about a chain supermarket. But one thing does happen here that frustrates me. When they have excess product they tend to stack items where there is space and it's often above a price tag that doesn't apply to that product. But it isn't obvious. That's very very frustrating.

This was the most frustrating online pick up I have ever experienced. So unorganized. I waited like 45 min when I had already received a message that it was complete so all they had to do was bring it out. I had to talk to 3 people to get my order. Never again. I will say everyone was nice and sweet.

This shop rite suck. Does not honor their sales and gave me BS when I did try to redeem a digital coupon. (Pic of coupon says $0.59 each.) The cashier tried to tell me it was $2 off 1. All the carts have issues, very annoying.

Out of all the ShopRite's this is the WORST! They never gave any registers open and rely of people who aren't very intelligent to do self checkout. It's painful. You may get the under 10 items open but then they let people with 3 times as much and don't say a word. They never gave what you are looking for especially in the frozen food area. If you try to call them and ask a question it turns into a transfer bonanza. This location desperately needs new management. Lodi does have the best Sushi though. Rochelle Park is a great ShopRite. They actually have all registers always open and Wallington isn't as good as Rochelle Park. Walking has the WORST sushi. They shouldn't even make it. It's disgusting.

Shoprite is definetly gouging now. A gallon of spring water is 50% more at Shop Rite than Aldi across the street. Why? I spotted 10 different things that were a dollar more than Wal-mart's supermarket. Also, you can't have a shopping basket anymore?? It's a cart or juggling 6 items. lol

They dropped the ball big time on my daughters birthday cake. I paid for a cake with a Disney theme and got a plain cake. The manager wouldn't even come down and speak with us. My daughter was very upset as she picked out what she wanted and was disappointed BIG TIME. Lesson learned. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Much better choice than many of the surrounding Shoprites. Big selection and easy to navigate. I actually often come here instead of Hackensack due to the state of the Hackensack store. (I live in Little Ferry. Longer drive to go to Lodi) Biggest issue: always packed and the parking situation is horrific.

Its okay but it USED to have my favorite croissants, better than whole foods and close to au pain. Recently they started doing it differently and it just tastes awful so i no longer see a reason to go here specifically.

As much as this place frustrates me, it's in a convenient location for groceries. I go to other grocery stores when I can but this ShopRite is extremely close to home. I had no issues prior to about 2 months ago. They do not keep up with their shopping carts at all. They used to inside by the main entrance. Lately I find myself walking inside and no carts to be found. I advise you grab a cart in the parking lot if you're shopping here because chances are you won't find one inside. On days the parking lot is full, you not only have to hunt down a parking spot but then you also have to hunt down a cart. There have been times where it's crowded and I have to resort to use a shopping basket and only grab what I'm able carry in there. I have been going elsewhere for my larger grocery trips.

For some reason they keep re-organizing? Arranging stor stock. This makes it very difficult to find your normal groceries and even store personnel do not know where half of that merchandise is very disappointed. Also also seems to be a lot of customer service personnel to help you got to check out long lines.

Avoid this Inserra ShopRite at all costs. Been going thru a reset that must be a year now & store still not fully stocked compared to other Shop Rite stores in the area. Just ran into a refund issue where since March they stopped giving refunds to unopened items. A joke! Manager even lied to me saying it was a Governor Murphy mandate. I work for major retailer & we have no such policy. Amazing how this is allowed using Covid as cover.

This bakery is AWFUL! Why I've given this place 3 chances to mess up my orders, I have no idea! I will never order anything here again in the bakery. It isn't worth my time or aggravation. They clearly do not follow specific directions that the people who take the orders write. They don't seem to care either. I came to pick up a cake today and the word "assemble" was on the cake. There was two women working behind the baker counter. The one was the lady who took my order. She was very nice and tried her best to offer a solution. The other person working had a terrible attitude and said "well I don't know what you want me to do", very snobby. So not only was I was upset/frustrated about the cake, this girls attitude didn't help. A nice manager Dawn did end up discounting the cake for me and I left with the cake, but was completely dissatisfied.

The employees continually block the main entrance with the carriages when they are collecting them from the parking lot, which is frustrating. That said they have a great selection and the people are nice and the store is clean. The deli is a bit slow but using the electronic order kiosk makes it faster because you can place your order and continue to shop until it's ready. Excellent seafood and sushi options and the bakery has a great selection. Parking can be a challenge but if you park a few rows from the entrance you can find decent spots. They will bring your groceries to you car and help load them if you ask when checking out.

This ShopRite is like any other shop right around the tri-state area. I am very disappointed in their sushi people and the sushi selection that they have. I've gone on several occasions and have been disappointed by the sushi and the customer service service from the sushi guys. The first encounter I got eel and avocado roll and I went home with it. Oh my God it tasted like the sushi was made two or three days prior and was left in the fridge it was disgusting utterly disgusting. Very old sushi. The second encounter I went to go get a roll that was spicy tuna and avocado looking for the "regular roll" that said 4.99$ and I told the guy that's what I wanted he comes around rudely without addressing me and points to a sign that says that sushi prices are made up to the sushi prepare at any day at any rate. And proceeds to hand me the expensive sushi. I just thought that he could have spoken or been nicer throwing the sushi in my face. I do feel like the ice cream selection is poor here and the pricing isn't friendly. Ehhh, again really disappointed by the sushi counter. Get a better 3rd party sushi company!
