“Had the pleasure of visiting Stilwell House today with my friend, who made a purchase. Paul was extremely personable, and took the time to make my friend’s birthday really special. Thank you! Beautiful art!”
“Very nice antique store decent prices. Some are a bit over but most of the stuff is priced right. Take your time and look around to find your treasure. Definitely will be coming back to look for more.”

“I love rummaging through this place, you never know what you’re going to find and they have good vendors and random but awesome things! I found this beautiful coin purse for $12.00!!!”
“I so love this store. We were in town for a film festival almost next door. I wandered down and found fabulous things. Bought a jacket for my wife who was cold and some jewelry. So reasonable and beautiful. The best part was it started to pour and the owner, Malcolm, lent me an umbrella. He is so kind and helpful. Would love to have him as a friend. Sending many blessings to him at this tough time in the world. Maya Kollman”
“Like many have said, you can spend hours here.. so many different items on so many scales and tiers. Something for everyone for sure. People were super nice. They spent extra time wrapping breakable items, which was greatly appreciated. I would definitely go back again. Wish I had more time to look through the store.”

“Fantastic selection of stuff, with a variety of higher end and more expensive stuff as well as mid tier and less expensive/affordable stuff. All great quality and fair pricing either way. They will work with you and give discounts when they can and/or when you buy multiple items. Very friendly and kind people too who know their stuff. The place is very welcoming inside and a great atmoshpere. Theres a reason why they have ALL great reviews and the only bad one was from someone who obviously doesn't know anything about running a business or the real world. Couldn't recommend this place more”

“My husband and I have been shopping at British Cottage for at least 15 years. Through new houses, our expanding family and home renovations. It feels like Tricia, Keith and British Cottage have been on our family’s journey with us! They have impeccable taste. Their shop is beautiful and filled with quality pieces of furniture, art, and home decor. A very large portion of their inventory is available to purchase right off the floor. It’s hard to walk in and NOT leave with something new that I know will stand the test of time. If you are looking for a personal experience and beautiful quality furniture British Cottage is a can’t miss!”
“I love this place. It's true what the lady says, it transforms you to the 60's. Great vintage pieces, great prices, great selections and best of all, great customer service. A must in your mid-century modern bucket list.”
“We're doing a home renovation and were unhappy with options at the big box stores. Salvage Angel has an extensive assortment of inventory to give a home some personality. As others have noted, you do have to ask for prices and things aren't Goodwill cheap, but you're also not wading through a bunch of garbage in hopes of finding a diamond in the rough. I was happy with my experience there, appreciated the professionalism of the owners, and will be returning in the future.”

“My wife and I recently bought several beautiful things there, including a magnificent antique candleholder with crystals. She used brass cleaner and cleaned each crystal to make it look new. It is one of the most beautiful items in our home. A great store that everyone should visit when in Ocean Grove.”
“Family owned and operated. Been doing business with them for many years. Amazing furniture and other antiquities for sale and on display. Highly recommend checking them out, one of the remaining high end antique dealers.”
