“I wanted to buy a used 2018 Tahoe but figured I needed it to be inspected by an independent mechanic before I bought it, and Alex had good reviews and I brought it to him.Despite being told by the dealer that the car was in great shape, Alex quickly found that there was virtually no oil in the engine and the front passenger axle was damaged and needed to be replaced. He also found that the rear air conditioning was not functioning.The dealer could not repair the axle for several days, but Alex said he could repair it the next day. I purchased the car at a reduced price to account for the axle repair, then I brought it back to Alex to repair, and within 24 hours he fixed it, and even cleverly used a washer to pin back a piece of the front trim that the dealer said could not be repaired.Alex was knowledgeable, prompt and reasonably priced.I highly recommend him.”

“I recently had problems with my motor. The rpms just dropped and my van wouldn't even stay on . I visited about 5 mechanics in the long ranch and Eatontown area and no ody wanted to work on it. I went to John's and even though he had a lot filled with vehicles he took my project on. So far my van feels great. I saw some of the other reviews and all I can say is good work ain't cheap, and cheap work ain't no good. Thank you John . “These guys are great. Took our car to them twice now. They get the job done, and they're HONEST. I can't believe I met an honest mechanic. My girlfriends Camry blew an alternator fuse. They could have lied and said it was something other than a 30 min job, but they didnt. $40 and it was fixed. Their prices are great, and if something doesn't need to be replaced, they'll tell you. I highly recommend them.”

“Alex's Auto & Truck Repair fixed my brake line which was ripped out by a huge fallen metal railing while driving on Rt 18 at night. His price was very reasonable to fix the badly damaged brake system along with other problems that I had like a gas leak, etc, that I had put off because I was afraid of the cost to repair it until my friend referred me to Alex's shop. His experienced team of mechanics is highly efficient and reliable. I was able to get my car back on the same day as I brought it into the shop. Now I go to them for all my auto repair and maintenance needs!”

“I have been frequenting the Sonoco station on Norwood ave in Eatontown since I was in a high chair. I must say, the man who pumps the gas is super human! He works 23 hours a day 365 days a year. He's just always available !!!Yes you will pay a little premium for this Superman service but it's worth it. You are in and out in 60 seconds. he springs into action before you leave your home.There is no store with no selection of snacks and drinks, and no staff members. It would be great if they added it. They surely have enough space available on the lot.As for the auto repair shop, I am pretty sure they are honest but you can't rely on me because I trust everyone at first. Tools seem to be all over the place but under control. If you do give your car for repair and it is in need of parts, be prepared to hibernate. Overall, I recommend Sonoco station in Eatontown to anyone looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable gas station experience. I will definitely be returning. This feedback is for the sole purpose of making planetnorm a place for business where transparency exists. It's not necessarily how many stars you get it's how much truth there is to the feedback.”

“I have to honestly say the owner who owns this body shop helped me today. I had gotten a flat tire on my car not only did he put together the spare tire, but he made sure that I was on my way.. The owner took the time on a Friday while he was trying to wrap up for the holiday weekend but found the time to help me. If he could help me I wonder what he does to help others that are in need of his services.”
