“My car engine took on flood water a few weeks ago, and Trotter’s helped me out by taking a look at it and working with insurance to get my claim finished. Even when my insurance company tried to pull a fast one on us, Keith & Keith Jr had my back and dealt with the annoying and rude insurance agent who was assigned to my claim. “Should be 5 stars but here’s why its not
The good:
Amazing responsiveness, very friendly, knowledgeable about the cars, fairly quick sales process.. bonus: they offered to buy me dinner because we were there late
The not so good:
Apparently this dealership requires you to have your car insured and bonded BEFORE leaving. I was not made aware of this and so I drove two hours to be told I couldn’t leave with the car. I was on the phone over an hour trying to get ahold of my insurance company, but they were closed. They did finally agree to pay for temporary coverage for me so I could get everything switched over the next day.
I am grateful they paid for the insurance but if that was an option I wish they would have started with that instead of having me on the phone forever with my insurance company.
Overall it was a good experience and I would use them again, but if your first time make sure you contact your insurance before they close for the day!”
