Love the online shopping shows. The staff is very friendly and professional when visiting the store. Clothing for the most part is pristine!

Just recently brought in the items to consign. I was really disappointed. They take your items and do not inform you what they sold. They donate items without you even knowing. I brought in items that were brand new clothing with tags and they were donated. The store part has wonderful things but will not consign with them. You do not even know what your items sold for. They need to try to fix this.

Full stocked Cosignment shop located at the site of the old unfinished furniture store ( Remember that giant wooden beach chair that stood out front for years??!!). The focus here is on clothes (Racks!), but household items as well. During the week, there are lines of "locals ladies" dropping items off via the back door -expecting a nice payback for their extra stuff. My problem w Consignment is how much $$ really does go back to that original owner?? No one could give me the %% arrangements when I asked up front. This is a for-profit business, not a charity, which is fine as long as the terms are clear beforehand .

Honestly you guys should have stayed in Long Branch. The store was so much better when it was there. The employees were nice and would actually go through your stuff in front of you and give you the option to take back or donate what you didn’t want. Now they have some of the nastiest people working here, tell you to just throw your bag in the bin and you never see your stuff again. It’s not like I’m dropping off clothes that are ripped or garbage—I’m bringing in clothes and shoes that either have tags, little to no wear or like new. It’s crazy how much this store has changed. Most of their clothes that they DO even accept from people are so ugly now. This place has gone very far downhill. I won’t even continue to consign or shop here anymore and the majority of my friends and family don’t bother with it here either.

The shopping experience is lovely. Good prices, well organized. However the consignment side is the opposite. You drop your clothes off in a bin never to see or hear from them again. You have no idea what was sold, what was donated how much they priced it for... I have consigned with other places and still do that put each of your items on a website and it shows when they sold and what for. I thought I'd give Back on the Racks a shot with my more name brand stuff. I would have just sold it online had I known this would have been the experience. So far I made $10 for a garbage bag full of decent items that I dropped off months ago.

I wouldn't even give one star, but there was no option for zero! I brought in at least 6 bags of clothes, some new with tags, and yet they told me that they didn't accept anything and donated everything I brought in. It's not like they have all designer clothes there, that they couldn't even take my jeans or tops with Macy's tags on them? I will certainly never bring anything in here again, and I do not believe that they didn't accept one thing. Also they won't give me a receipt for the donation or any proof that they donated my items. RIP OFF!!!!

From the "Seller's" perspective, you fill out a form and drop off clothes and never hear another word. They do tell you that they will contact you if something sells. But you never know how anything is priced and it's strange to hear nothing after dropping off clothes that were never warn even with tags on. Not an experience I want to revisit. I decided to donate to the Thrift Shop in Freehold instead. From buyer's standpoint, store is organized and pleasant to browse in.

I had given up on using Back on The Racks a year ago as to the way they conduct the consignments. As I was moving out of state, I tried again to hopefully sell some really good items. I went after Christmas with two designer bags in their original boxes as well as two designer gowns which were from Nordstrom worn only once. The woman told me to put everything in a plastic bag and put them in a bin.No inventory taken, no receipt as to what I am leaving. How do I know that it was put out on the floor? How do I know when they decide it’s time to discard and donate to the charity of their choice? This is ridiculous!! I took my things and went to my charity and gave it to them to sell so I know the animals of the Monmouth County SPCA will be getting the proceeds. It’s not always about the money . I just can’t feel good about leaving good items with no inventory so Back on the Racks is in full control.
