They always have some weird stuff going on at the pharmacy, EVERY SINGLE TIME I COME IN, they are always Short staffed for cashier's at the pharmacy and they normally don't have medicine ready. I mainly attribute this to all the weirdos that live in long branch that come to this pharmacy they could absolutely DO BETTER

I received a text, my Rx would be ready for pickup by 6pm. I show up to learn the pharmacist, without any communication, decided not to order what my doctor prescribed. She ASSUMED my insurance would not cover. I had already had a pre-authorization. She finally took the time to look while I was there and saw my insurance would in fact pay. Her lack of communication has now delay my treatment.

I have never experienced such rudeness as I have with this Pharmacy. The Pharmacy manager in particular. I'm actually scared like a child in class when I have to check on a refill because I know what I'm going to get. The other day I got the nicest person and I thought, oh, maybe they've changed staff, only to find out I was calling the CVS on rt. 35 in ocean. That Pharmacy manager was kind, and helpful. When you are dealing with prescriptions, medication, much like a doctors office you want the staff to be patient and kind. My advice, even if you have to go out of your way, spend your time and money where you are treated respectfully.

Dirty disorganized
Place with clueless
Employees. I decided not to buy
Eye drops from that store as the area was disorganized and dusty. Unmotivated Staff unable to remove anti theft devices. Clearly points to unchecked local management issues. Going walgreens now.

Absolute the worst pharmacy I ever been to. Constantly making mistakes. Complete apathy. Had multiple conversations with Sonia the manager she assured me each time that they will be more diligent. But the truth is she is completely apathetic. Went to the nearby Walgreens and the service is night and day. An absolute breathe of fresh air after dealing with CVS and Sonia

This CVS is decent / clean on the store side however the pharmacy has become dreadful over the past 2 years. I've been coming to this CVS for 5 years, so I remember when the pharmacy used to have their stuff together. I received a text message from CVS telling me that my medicine is ready for pick up, and when i got there the pharmacist tells me there is no medication ready for me, so i end up waiting another 30 minutes while they fill the medication that should have already been ready. The pharmacist are very nice but no organization. Recommend going elsewhere honestly

Absolute embarrassment of an establishment. The staff is rude and extremely short with their customers. I was stuck in the drive through for over twenty minutes just to get a prescription that had been ready for days. Keep in mind I got there right when they opened and was the second car in line. Multiple cars left in this duration, clearly fed up with the wait. When the woman came to the window she needed me to repeat my name, birthday and other information three separate times. I offered to give her my license since she clearly couldn't spell and it would make it easier and she refused, making me wait longer. Absolutely ridiculous, rude as hell and has no business running the window. Don't go here. It's a waste of your damn time.

On 8/19/23 I purchased two sand toys totalling $21.67, on my way to the beach at Long Branch Beach. When the kids started to unpack the toys we noticed that the shovel was broken and the pail's handle was also broken. Since we had already settled by the beach and we had two sets of toys; I told the girls to share one and we would return the broken set on the way home. The girls were okay with my suggestion and played nicely all afternoon. On the way home I stopped at the CVS to exchanged the broken toy. Well the manager on duty stated that it was their policy not to accept returns. I explained that while I understood the policy the toys was broken. I could not very well have returned immediately; I had paid $20.00 parking and walked a quarter mile to the Shore with two young children The manager on duty refused to exchanged the toy, in other words too bad for you lady. She then threaten to call the Police. She absolutely didnot want to hear my point of view. As a loyal customer of CVS for more that 40 years I find this handling of the situation unacceptable. Even the customer behind me stated that outrageous. CVS needs to amend their policy to accept returns that were damaged or malfunctioning. And promote managers that can intelligently and respectfully handle situations and not threaten customers with calling the Police. I had two sleeping children in the car and had to leave.
