I have seen a lot of bad policies for stores and most of them I understand but you guys truly took the cake on the contest to make your customers miserable. Self-check out only 20 items of less. Cool for one or two stations but all of them it's ridiculous specially since you have an employee standing there wasting their time but only one or two registers open. I will never step foot in this store again. The employees are the worst I've seen in many years!!

Giant store-almost too big, so I plan my shopping ahead so I don't have to backtrack through the store. Pleasant staff.

I have not said anything for the past 6 months, but whatever the heck you all did to the self checkout machines makes it INTOLERABLE for your 20 item or less customers. Here’s some advice, take the two people you have angrily working the self checkout, where every third scan requires assistance, and just make two 20 items or less lines. The experiment is over. It’s not quicker, easier, or more helpful. I refuse to wait behind the people with $400 cart loads to check out 5 items. Treat the small purchase customers better. Either fix your damn self checkout, (whatever you did broke them over the past month or so) OR open up more express lanes. You’ll get your 3 stars back.

I am appalled at how I was treated tonight at this shoprite. My one year old daughter grabbed the diced sweet potatoes from my cart and dropped them on the floor where they spilled. I immediately went to an employee to ask for a broom. The red headed some what bald man with a beard treated me like I was such a problem and couldn’t handle my child. Then at check out some of the rest of the sweet potatoes were falling so I told the cashier and I told her I could pick them up but she said “just move out of the way” and made a huge deal that she picked up a few of the diced potatoes. I then said I will clean the rest of the cart outside and she said “we don’t need it outside either” as if I wasn’t going to throw it in the garbage can. Then the red head man came back and said “yeah she made a mess over there too”. This wasn’t intentional and it was not sauce or anything messy. I left feeling like I was such a degenerate to have my daughter drop the sweet potatoes. I even offered to pay for them and she snapped back and said “we’re short staffed tonight”. How is that my fault? I am not one to complain but this was completely unacceptable behavior on every level.

I'm sorry but over the past few weeks this Shoprite has gone down hill. The produce looks and tastes old and doesn't last long, the bakery leaves a lot to be desired, and the quality of cuts at the meat department is atrocious. I bought a boneless pork loin and it was 2 little strips but packaged as 1. We have been very disappointed lately

Saker should revisit your self checkout access availability. Plenty of stations but no where to queue up. Front end help are less than friendly.
