New owners took over the beginning of the october. They ripped down all the privacy fencing and trees that was once a beautiful country setting. Dogs in their kennels are now exposed to people rather than safely behind a fence. With all the dogs being stolen now a days, I can not understand the logic to exposing people's pets to possibly being taken by unknown passersbys. I will choose to board my pet in a safer, more secure establishment. Truly miss the previous owners and the care and protection they gave our pets. Good luck to the new owners

The owners of this kennel are very kind and caring dog people. I always feel confident that my dog is well cared for when I leave her there. They also do a wonderful job grooming her.

I brought my dog here for her first kennel experience. She's just 1 1/2 and although she's been socialized quite a lot with other dogs, she's a bit timid at first. The kennel erupted in barking when we arrived and my dog was very nervous -- she would approach the kennel door and then retreat in fear. I finally carried her into the kennel and began talking to one of the owners. I explained that I was not sure this would work out because my dog appeared so nervous and asked him what the dogs do each day. I was shocked at the venom in the kennel owner's eyes at my statement. He truly looked like he was disgusted and infuriated -- as if my dog's nervousness and my concerns were some kind of criticism of him. He was very defensive and went on a tirade about how long he has been in business, the fact that he's inspected regularly, etc. It was an extremely uncomfortable situation and I left with my dog. These owners may be good dog people, but they have zero empathy for their human customers.

The owners of Harvest House care about their animals. They run a very organized and thoughtful business. If my dog doesn't eat, they cook him chicken and rice and mix it with his food. The place is always clean. They do an excellent job.
