I stumbled upon Valley Shepherd Creamy unexpectedly while driving and I am so glad I turned around and visited the store. Missy was so helpful and sweet and let me try a bunch of their cheeses. They are hands down the best cheeses I have ever had as well as the Sheep Tahitian Vanilla yogurt. Also, I was able to talk to the owner for a while and he was awesome. Cute store, great food and adorable animals. can’t wait for the cheese cave tour in the fall!!

I shop here weekly for yogurt and butter, occasionally for the cheese. I'm waiting for the spring to do the tour with my grandchildren so they can see the new born lambs and goats.

This place is absolutely beautiful! It’s a nice place to go to when you want to get your mind off of things. They have animals like goats and horses and others. They have a gift shop too where you can buy cheese, plushies/toys, yogurts and drinks! My daughter went to this creamery for a trip recently and the pictures and the experience she’s showed me and told me about is amazing! The workers here are nice as well! ????

Owner was very hostile and belligerent towards me. When I asked him to speak to me with the same respect I was giving him, he became more aggressive and threatening. Why have a public facing company if you are going to treat the customers disrespectfully? Save your time and your energy, I would never bring my family anywhere near the owner Eran Wajswol or his place of business.

Cheese and Sheep what more is there to life! What a place. The selection of cheeses are all great. Samples are usually available. The Soprano is my favorite. The sheep's milk yogurt is to die for. Can't go back to any other yogurt ever again! Don't pass up the delicious ravioli. Fig and goat cheese is a nice one! Tours are available to see the whole cheese making process. Check the website for details. How lucky we are to have such a place in our NJ backyard!

I had a wonderful experience here with my two kids (1.5 and 4 y/o) on the spring lamb tour. We learned a lot about how the farm operates and enjoyed spending some time with the lambs and goat kids. And of course, the cheese plate was the perfect way to end the experience! I also ordered some cheese for a corporate event and they were very friendly and easy to work with. I've been telling everyone I know to visit this place! If you don't live nearby, they do sell at some farmer's markets like Duke Farms and some in NYC.

Went to pet the baby lambs and goats. There is a short video about the farm and cheesemaking. My granddaughter had a good time. The children were taught how to pick up the animals properly and they were feeding them. Short tour of the cheese making area from an observation window.

Excellent sheep milk yoghurt, beats any yoghurt I've had before. Their ricotta is also delicious. They are easy to find at the Innwood farmer's market on Saturdays.

Went on a tour of the creamery with my dad for his birthday. Despite not *technically* giving the tour, we got about an hours worth of info. It was so awesome to be able to see such passion for their animals from the people that work there. Honestly, after going on the tour, I was considering applying to intern there. And, of course, the cheese is absolutely out of this world. Each type was so distinct and soooooo tasty. The yoghurt and other products they sell were great, too. I haven't found another strawberry rhubarb preserves as good, and their marinara was quite delicious. After taking the hour and a half trek out, I did the same thing two weeks later because I needed more cheese. Support local businesses that care about their animals and visit this place!!!!

We’ve been enjoying cheese from here for years. The variety and quality is outstanding. Their staff really know their products whether at the store or farmers market. We just did the cheese cave tour. It was wonderful.

For all the critics complaining about the "cheap" experience that is "expensive", please keep in mind the Creamery is a family artisan cheese business started by a couple who risked everything to do something amazing when no one else was. There is an actual cheese cave, built by the owners, and it is the most incredible cheese you will ever experience. I take every single guest to New Jersey of mine to the cheese shop. When the season allows, we take the tour. In the fall, we take our picnic basket with a bottle of wine, buy bread, cheese, sausage, and then go to the apple orchard nearby for apples and other goodies, and find a spot to picnic either on the orchard or a nearby creek. Give a small family business a break, people, this is back-breaking 24/7 work for approximately 20 years. I only buy cheese at the Creamery (it's REAL goat and sheep cheese!), or when I'm eating my way through Arthur Avenue in the Bronx where I get my Italian cheeses. It is worth the price. The animals are shepherded into a merry-go-round they designed and had shipped in pieces from Italy, and they are doing what they love, which is RARE. I often ship boxes or stock up my suitcase to take to my family. One time the staff even packed my order and left it for me to pick up after hours so I could make my flight. The first time I stumbled upon the Creamery I was driving by and thought I was in England because the sheep were in the the roadside pasture. Sometimes the animals are there for your viewing, or petting at the fence - just like at the Zoo when you can't see the animal you most expected - do you criticize the Zookeeper for not giving you what you paid for? I am your biggest cheerleader, Valley Shepherd Creamery!
